Campbell injury adds to Gunners woes

Arsenal's misery over defeat by Manchester United on Tuesday night has been compounded by news that centreback Sol Campbell will be out of action for ten days with an ankle injury.
Campbell suffered the setback while trying to block United striker Louis Saha late in the 4-2 defeat at Highbury and will definitely miss Saturday's Premiership clash with Aston Villa, as well as England's friendly against Holland next week.
That leaves manager Arsene Wenger with a major headache as he is already without Campbell's normal partner at centreback, Kolo Toure, who is suspended, and Swiss teenager Philippe Senderos, who has a knee injury.
Wenger will be forced to turn to England Under-21 international Justin Hoyte, who has made a handful of appearances at full-back, to plug the gap in the centre alongside Pascal Cygan.
England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has the luxury of being able to call upon Chelsea defender John Terry as a replacement for Campbell.
Tuesday night's defeat prompted Wenger to concede that his side no longer retained any hope of defending their Premiership title.
Star striker Thierry Henry reluctantly admitted the manager was right, but urged his team-mates to make up for their domestic disappointment in the Champions League arena.
"The Champions League is a priority for everyone but a bit more for us after Tuesday night," Henry said.
"Maybe well concentrate more on that now and see where we can go in the FA Cup as well," he said.
Arsenal resume their quest for Champions League glory later this month with a second round tie against Bayern Munich.
