i watched that game and i saw that the penalty was taken by Lauren. does anyone know why Laurne took that instead of Henry or Berkgamp?

bottled what? he didnt take it, so how can he bottle it? hes only missed like 3, maybe 4 times for arsenal so undoubtedly he is the best penalty taker. but yeh, our team as a whole enjoys letting others take penalties (i.e. pires vs everton)

I thought Pires was the new 1st taker:confused: anyways, are we to believe that besides Henry and Pires, nobody but Lauren is capable of taking penalties? Reyes, Dennis, Freddie all can't take penalties?:o

Yes, they can all take them, Lauren is just better.

1. Henry
2. Pires (usually when Henry doesn't want to or gets taken down)
3. Lauren

true, for penalties lauren is definetley (at least) 3rd best taker on our team... its not that the others are bad, its just that hes GOOD (although he ALWAYS goes to the keepers right)

Everyone in the ground (including Spurs players) were thinking it was Henry, then were shocked when Lauren stepped up.
