i doubt it we're gonna get a 2-0, with our defense, keeping a clean sheet would be like finding kryptonite .. Though we will have Cole and Campbell and berkgamp back. How much we missed each and every one of them was unbeleivable. We missed all their experience, bergkamp's ability to pass, intelligence. Campbell's heading powers and strength, cole's speed. We missed all that so much, who knows, we might just do it.

All of Bayern's goals weren't coming from good plays, when i was watching the match both teams were doing horrible. 2 of the goals were toure's fault and pizarro didn't have much to do after that, than the 3rd goal was an open goal, nothing hard. :rolleyes:

was arsenal's goal good? i turned the tv off and read on soccergaming after wards:(

That's what I fear.
If Campbell returns/Kolo gets tough we have a chance otherwise it'll be the FA cup for us.

I don't think you guys will make it through. Really your defence needs to tighten up, i watched the match and at most times makay, pizaro etc were everywhere. The two first goasl by Pizaro was due to poor marking.

Lets not forget Toure was orginally a SMF...... and he's only been playin CB for about 2-3 seasons..... So he lacks experience in big games like this...... I think last year when we lost to Chelsea they passed it between Toures legs and bridge went on to score....... Toure is a great defender and will only improve but his experience or maybe his nervousnous lets him down in big games......

Im glad he got that away goal that gives us hope

We lost 5-1 in the reserves :(

but Alaidiere scored which is nice.

The fulham team they played was very experianced, ours was very young (Average age 19)

actually before he came to arsenal he started at centre back, which was his original position. when he came to arsenal is when wenger used him in different positions...

anyway on lastnite.......i thought that Clichy was the only person lastnight who deserved to be on a winning team. which i think is a very poor refelection on the teams performance as a whole, considering he was probably if not the youngest player out there. But individually Reyes was disgustingly selfish and probably had his worst performance in an Arsenal shirt, he was never tracking back or helping out Clichy, eventually after alot of standing around looking for sypathy when he did get in good positions he either made the wrong decision or lost the ball (specifically at the start of the 2nd half when he shot from an impossible angle instead of picking out Freddie for a tap-in). i also thought Henry had a poor game only because he had poor service, i can remember 1 good ball he recieved and even that was played late making him offside.

As for a solution to **** we are in. playing pires and cole/clichy on the left, freddie on the right, gilberto(please god) and the old vieira in the middle and pray that bayern get too cocky and f*ck up, i dont think we can keep a clean sheet, so 3-1 and extra time or anything above 3 will do.

I think it's a lack of heart.

From what I hear, Cygan was trying his heart out and it showed, Clichy gave it a go. But everyone else could have done better, and there's no excuse for that.

We should go for Anthony Vanden Borre in the summer, he's rated highly and plays in the same team as Kompany, the money teams will go for Kompany, so we should be able to get AVB.

I don't think AVB is available and if he was he would cost a lot. And we don't need cb that's even younger then Senderos. I think the lack of a midfield anchorman killed Arsenal's season. Gilberto did what Makelele did for Real Madrid. And you can tell that they make a huge difference in an attacking team.

I would like to get a backup for Freddie, maybe a backup CB with experience, a backup for Gilberto and a very good young gk.
