Scouser helped us a lot with this, hopefully this patch will be worth it.


I was able to get career mode to work. The problem was that some national teams where not set as national teams and had the country set as international. I also made a few other changes, some which may have been needed too for career mode to work.

For the compdata, I added tournaments for the Brazilian and Czech leagues and qualified them to UEFA CL/EL and Copa Libertadores. I also adjusted the leagues which have a different number of teams than in FIFA 16. Career mode will also start in 2010. Some tournaments may need formats changed to match the 10/11 formats and some schedules may need to be adjusted.

By the way, Cork City and Longford Town both only have 15 players, you should increase their squads to at least 18 players.

I would advise you to spend some time testing it before making further improvements or releasing.

Did the Patch work for you after using the files from Scouser?
I was glad after I replaced the DB and the Compdata Folder that I was able to start a Career without ctd. But with 3 different Teams I couldn‘t pass the First season Game. Everytime ctd. Even I tried to simulate over the first Game. Always crashes my Career Mode. Tried it with Sevilla, Roma, Atlético.

Tbf I only tried it with Liverpool and that one was stable. I will try with some others teams tomorrow.

Maybe try to give Corck City and Longford some new players. They both only had 15..

I'm now working on a lot of kits, I have to remove all the badges from European teams so they don't over wright the badge that is already on the kit.

Sounds promising! Thanks for the Tip with the 2 Teams. I will try it tomorrow. Anyway, if some teams are stable like Liverpool would be awesome. I try some other teams too tomorrow.

Update

Added specific Champions League kit overlays for Inter Milan (CL Winner 2010) AC Milan (7), Ajax (4), FC Bayern (4), Real Madrid (9). I also added the ones for Liverpool (5) for career mode when Liverpool plays Champions League.

Successfully started a career mode with Atlético, Sevilla, AC Milan, Liverpool, Ajax and Bayern Munich all passesed 3 seasons :)

Cool. What do you think or what you have done additional to make Career Mode work for you? Only adding the new Players to those 2 Teams? What do you choose at Career Start? Standard Squads or use current Squads?

Standard squads, always. Did you change something with CM16? Make sure that you copy the dlc back over it then.

New mainhub and lay-out in 2010-2011 theme.

No, no changes with CM16. Not before I can confirm that the Career mode works for me with the Default Patch.

Seeing in your new layout and hub themes so many Players what makes this Patch special. I am still amazed how many real faces are in the Patch.

European kits for all Champions League teams. (All badges removed)
New overlays for Champions League and Europa League (+ Team overays for Ajax, Liverpool ect.)
