The first eleven's still not too bad but the bench is shocking. Ottl, Brazzo, Görlitz (just returned from a two year injury break), Karimi (might be sold in the next days) and Fürstner are our only midfield backups. Two injuries to key players and we're royally ****ed. I just hope we manage to qualify for the CL, that's gotta be our most important aim this season! If we want to give Bremen a run for their money we need reinforcements now.

Vince (or Hendrik?), isn't Klose leaving Bremen after this season? Why aren't we talking about him coming to Bayern?

It's still 50/50 whether he will stay or not.


1. Bremen would never sell him to us, they are no longer in a position that they need to sell their best players to Bayern unless it's for some ridiculous amount of money.
2. Bremen are offering him higher wages than all our current strikers are making.
3. Klose mentioned there are 5 clubs in Europe he'd like to play for, probably Madrid, Barca, Milan and two English clubs.

Guys, there are some things I don't understand; now we have Sebastian retired from football, Brazzo will join Juventus next season, Hargreaves will go to Manchester, Mehmet is ending his great career with FCB, Karimi has the "Freigabe", dos Santos is in loan to Wolfsburg......
Who will play in midfield for the rest of the season but expecially next year?
Ok, this season is gone, Werder is too strong for us in Bundesliga, Real and other teams too stronger in Champions. But what do we do next year? The defense is a mess too and maybe Lucio will leave us, Micho too, and Pizza and Roque are going away from Bayern.
Who will play guys? Me and you?
I don't understand and very confused about the future of our loved team.....:boohoo:

Just wait and see, let Uli do the work. The second transfer for the new season has been completed, no word as to who it is yet. Probably a gentlemen's agreement between the two clubs. According to Uli it's going to annoy the hell out of the other Bundesliga clubs that means it might be another Bundesliga star player. Apparently they spoke to van der Vaart during the training camp in Dubai. 5 new players are coming in next summer.

I'm really pissed about Brazzo leaving but I can understand why he accepted that offer from Juventus. I wonder if there is a clause in the contract that will allow him to stay with Bayern in case Juventus doesn't get promoted.

The situation with Deisler is just sad. I really feel bad for the guy. I'm rehabbing from my 3rd straight knee injury. I haven't played a competitive match in 3 years. During every pre-season, I've torn a knee ligament. I've already told myself, if it happens just one more time, I'm done with football.

With all this set aside, I just hope we can bring in some of those players that we are being linked with. I don't want an average German player, I want a star from Europe. Give me something that I can get excited about.

I really hope he does reconsider. Great gesture by Beckenbauer and Hoeness to keep his contract valid. If they could persuade him to make a comeback next season... All football fans would love it.

Just had to make a jump here at your thread to express my feelings for Deisler's situation. I know I seem like someone died, but we just witnessed a young kid giving up on his dream.

I really hope he does reconsider. Great gesture by Beckenbauer and Hoeness to keep his contract valid. If they could persuade him to make a comeback next season... All football fans would love it.

Thank u my friend, we all appreciate your message; when I think to Seba Deisler I think too to a player who plays in your team, Christoph Metzelder, I like him very much and he too is always injured, so I'm always afraid that Bundesliga can lose a great player like him, for me the best defender in Germany.
Hope to see Christoph always "fit". p.s. next friday great match, BVB gg FCB , win the best!

Hertha are in deep financial trouble, they'd have to sell him if the right offer came in. But Pantelic? Are you serious? Makaay and Pizza are better than him and Poldi is already getting hardly much playing time.

It's been reported that the agent of van der Vaart and Sneijder had a meeting with our manager all morning long yesterday.

Terrible start, 20 minutes only BVB, too many mistakes on defence for us; then we score with van Buyten and seem the real Bayern, lucky the goal for Roy Makaay . But we've still too many troubles to play, hope all ok in the 2nd half but it's hard to guess how this match could finish........:boohoo:

Like I said, we're fighting for the the third spot this year. Says it all about our squad that Brazzo and Karimi are starting because no one else can play on the wings. That means our whole game depends on Schweini, the only creative player on the pitch.

And what the feck's up with our defense? Danny and Lucio just can't cut it together. We need Ismael back asap. Bench Lucio and it should be a lot more solid.

We're obviously not gonna win the CL but still, we can beat anyone on a good day and it's most about luck anyway.

Watched the game for many reasons(Brazzo, Metzelder...) and I thought Brazzo was playing well and then he got subbed off. Was he injured or Magath was just pissed at him? I thought he played better than Karimi and that other guy who's name is too long. I saw that he gave him sh*t, I guess it's because he went forward too often or something but at least he created some things.
