Over rated? I hear some people talking about Ronaldo being over rated, but I still think he's amazing,

No, he's arguably the best striker in the last 15 years. He WAS amazing in the late 90's and to this day I'm sure he strikes fear into those gk's. Everybody knows that if that injury wouldn't of happened we wouldn't be making these types of threads, instead we'd be praising him and calling him one of the best ever. Unfortunately, THAT injury kept him from becoming that, ONE OF THE BEST EVER. :nape:

I don't know how Real let him get away with being so overweight. He trains 5 days a week and plays at least 1 match a week, to me it seems impossible to remain overweight when you do that much excersize...
He's certainly not the player he was.

He's not, but he is my favourite player of all time, his strength speed, he's unbelievable...

For some people it's hard to lose weight, maybe he's that type, I have an 11 minute video of ronaldo, wow he's f*cking amazing. In my eyes he is the best of all time.

4. RONALDO & quickly slipping down the rankings, but not TOO far. ;) :(

I have to come to terms with myself that even though he's my favorite player in the world, he's just not the same. :nape:

I still believe he's a top 10 striker. But this year has been dissapointing for him unfortunately. Which is a shame, considering that his weight is still a problem regardless of how much training he does or how many games he plays. The fact of the matter is, whether he's out of form or not, he still has the power to turn games around when he feels so.

In the juventus game, 2nd leg, he made 2 great runs that almost resulted in a goal, but, again, his shape got the best of him, and basically became invisible due to lack of running and effort on his part.

Anyways Ronaldo is definietly still up there. Too bad he is surrounded by players that run everything, instead of having a manager that runs everything. And you can't blame him for his goal scoring form lately,everyone at Real is not doing to good.


BTW what's up with all those names like The Real Ronaldo or Brazilian Ronaldo or something like that, just say Nazaro Ronaldo or something, Cristiano Ronaldo's last name is not even Ronaldo. We should just go as the shirt says, Ronaldo and C.Ronaldo or Cristiano.

Isnt he commonly called Luiz Ronaldo? Well, anyway, theres not a chance hes overrated. Overweight, out of shape (like Phil, with the training footballers go through I cant understand this) and unmotivated perhaps, but he cant be considered overrated. I hope he can get it going again. Maybe he needs a change of scenery, or just a good kick in the ass (Y)

I like Real Ronaldo ;) haha he's amazing.

His form is dissapointing lately, but like someone already mentioned everyone at real is in bad form, as for his weight problem, he tries hard to get thin but he can't.

I think he's going through a tough-period right now. He was great during the World Cup and the season thereafter. He's been losing it ever since in my opinion.

Ronaldo is my favorite player and in my eyes he will always be the best. But realistically I don't see him as the top striker of this season. That could be split up between Adriano and Henry.

And oh yeah.... Shevchenko isn't bad either...
