I think Cruijff also talked about this. Of course Ajax is one of the greatest youth academies in the world, but I think he only wants ex-pros (preferably from the Ajax academy themselves) coaching their youth.
This is bullshit, there are a lot of former football players that doesn't understand the game, are not well prepared or simply doesn't has talent to be coach and they keep getting chances in the elite just because contacts or name (Michel an example).
I had the chance to know people like Dani Fernandez (Espanyol u-18 and the best Catalan coach after Guardiola) Adrián Cervera (Marbella) or Fran Ruiz (former Elche youth) and they are better than some managers in the elite, they will probably be there in a future. The last one of the list were 1 week at Real Madrid training seasons invited by Mourinho.
