The ESPN commentator Tony is so bad. First he spends 75 minutes bashing Benitez about how bad of a manager he is and how he barely did anything for Liverpool and that they definietly need somebody better. But once Liverpool score 2, he starts raving about Benitez calling him a genius and a great master tactician.

He's always criticized Rafa, basically since he took the job as Liverpool boss. I don't get it. Then again Tommy Smyth rarely says anything that isn't retarded.

Sevilla 2

Fenerbahce over-estimated the spanish side, i think they are a much better team compare to Sevilla and its highly unlikely Sevilla will qualify back in Spain.

(I am a Galatasaray fan)

Those 2 away goals are the key. Sevilla is more than capable of 1-0 at home.

you do the same ;)

Haha, frankly I couldn't care less, so NO! But, if the Turks win, good for them and good for you...you clearly care about it.

Exactly. We almost had a 2-2 draw in an extremely hostile environment, against players who were playing "the most important game of their lives" (as some were quoted), and who were being payed 195,000 euros for a win, and in very cold weather. Now we're going back home where our fans are sure to rock our stadium, in weather we're accustomed to, with two away goals in our favor. I think a 1-0, 2-1, or better is far from improbable.

I really doubt Players like Kezman, Roberto Carlos , Alex de Souza or Lugano played "the most important match in their lives", since they were integral part of both their national team and their previous clubs.
This current Fenerbahce team is i think a better team compare to Sevilla and its nothing to with the hostile environment, look at the first goal, you scored, Edu literally gave you a present and scored a dumb own goal , if he didnt touched the ball, there wouldnt be any danger since there were 3 Fenerbahce players in the box.
About the bonuses that where paid to the players i know little about so i cant really comment but i can only say the president of Fener is a very very rich guy and if he can easily double or triple that amount in the second leg :)

PS- your players played in the cold weather but Fener played in the same weather too :D
its really similar weather in Spain and Turkey (both meditterean climate) so the cold wheather is just not a solid excuse, sorry.

Conclude; Sevilla is a good team but Fener will qualify, i really dont think Sevilla is capable enough to win against Fenerbahce. (if Fener give %100)
We'll see, cant wait for the second leg.

come on man ... why shouldn't he think that fener are better? i am not saying they are, nor am i saying that fener will go through, but if some liverpool and prem fans can think that liverpool are better than inter coz they beat them at home playing against 10 men, then why shouldn't he think that fener are better than sevilla when they've beaten them at home playing against a full 11?
Yeah, but that's just called "bias"

Because they conceded two goals at home, and you don't do that in the knockout stages of the CL if you want to go through.

Looks like kaka won't make it for next week and even if he does he is not match fit.

A score draw or win for arsenal , who lets be honest seem to play well at the san siro :Carlos*o:

This is the wrong time to be a Chelsea opponent. They can smell blood right now. You really wouldn't want to be running into them from this point on, in the tournament. Whoever's playing them, this week, is as good as done.

Oh, and it appears Seerdorf is going to MISS the Arsenal game, along with Emerson. I wonder if Van Persie would feature at any point, for Arsenal.
