But on a more serious note is it more difficult to get in Canada than in the US for example? I've read/heard stories about students eating them like candy in the US to help them study. Well actually the same about Canada, but not as much. Or just as a recreational drug.
I've been told that acquiring the prescription for Adderall in the US is really simple, that doctors hand them out easily. Obviously it depends on the doctor, but yeah.
What's your stance on that? Tougher to get over there?
I once asked one doctor around here about it, and was told that in order to get ritalin/concerta or adderall (which officially isn't sold here, but it should be available to order it from another country, by the legal route with the doctor dealing with it) you have to perform quite a few tests. I don't know what exactly, though. Just wondering how easy it would be to fake it. Not that I'd even bother with playing a clown at the doctor's and rather get speed from the street instead.
If you have been diagnosed of ADHD, then you will get it. Usually we start with Concerta. I like Strattera because it works for ADHD and has no abuse potential. It is not sold on the streets.
The "tests" you are talking about are probably the set of questions or forms you will go through to see if you have ADHD. Usually done by a psychiatrist or a clinical psychologist. GPs can diagnose it too but diagnosis takes time, needs 1-3 hours history. We don't have time for that and its boring.
