Hey Paul, there's two Mexicans trialing with Chicago in Guadalajara right now.

Isaac Moreno (supposedly played/plays for Toluca)
Gustavo "El Gusano" Napoles

Any clue on who these guys are?

Well, sadly I do kno who Isaac Moreno is, but i dont kno him that much. See, after coming through the Toluca youth system, they can go one of 2 routes. One is straight to Toluca... the other is playing for Atl Mexiquense (Toluca's "farm team" in 2nd division) I said "sadly" cuz i kno too much about Toluca it seems.

Isaac Moreno pretty much has played his whole career in Mexico in 2nd division. Hes been on the Toluca squad for past editions of the CONCACAF Champions Cup, but never in 1st division that i can remember. I only remember seeing him in a few of the games Ive seen Atl Mexiquense play. He seems average at the very most, I think hes a striker/forward.

And Gustavo Napoles If he scores, your gonna fu*kin love it.... he celebrates every goal by doin the worm !!! Waaaaaaay past his prime though.

So they're both forwards? I find that very surprising. Cause right now we have 5 pretty good forwards - two US internationals (Chris Rofle, Nate Jaqua), a Costa Rica international (Andy Herron), a Canada international (Will Johnson) and a US U-20 star (Chad Barrett). I doubt they'll get signed, we mostly need help at right mid and right back.

Yeha but Costa Ricans and Canadians suck ass tho.

I THINK Moreno is a forward, his type of forward usually at his level (2nd division type players) can usually play all over the side theyre best at. If hes a left then LF, LM, LW, if hes a righty RF, RM, RW. I have a few Toluca bench players like that.

That was the game that really made me a Chivas fan, I'll never forget it...

We had Ramon Ramirez, Zarate, Claudio Suares, El Tiburon Sanchez, Romero, Alberto Coyote, Cesar Chavez, Misael Espinoza! All in their best form..with "Tuca" Ferreti on side...
Ahh, great memories.


But yeah, he's way past his prime. I don't really think he could make it on a physical league, as the MLS.

Good times, I still remember that beat down of Toros Neza like it was yesterday. I can't believe El Gusano is still around though, I thought he had retired or something.
