He's 40, he's going to be making a hell of a paycheck for sitting on the bench and his family can stay at the same house and all. How much more could he earn elsewhere and is the extra playing time actually gonna be better for him? He's a a veteran goalkeeper, who will train with much better coaches than anywhere else he could go. I think it makes more sense than any other move he could feasibly make.
