******* good stuff in the libertadores today, the most surprising was sporting defensor over flamengo, flamengo got ass rape! lol

Agreed this was the most surprising. Also the current 4-1 handed to Toluca by Cucuta, and at some point América's defeat over Colo Colo were somewhat a surprise(by the score).

Apparently Libertad made the best business for those who didn't get a big positive score, because they have the got an interesting adventage playing away. In the other hand with a similar score but in different circumstances Nacional may not have it so easily.

In my opinion Santos-Caracas, Grêmio-São Paulo and Necaxa-Nacional, in that order, will be the matches to watch in the 2nd leg.

EDIT: Oh well the match finished, so the scores of the other matches.

Boca Juniors(ARG) vs. Vélez Sarsfield(ARG) 3-0 - Sessa... :nape:

São Paulo FC(BRA) vs. Grêmio(BRA) 1-0

Caracas FC(VEN) vs. Santos FC(BRA) 2-2

Club Nacional(URU) vs. Necaxa(MEX) 3-2

Paraná Clube(BRA) vs. Libertad(PAR) 1-2

Cúcuta Deportivo(COL) vs. CD Toluca(MEX) 5-1 - Now this is assrape.:o

Funny thing is in the last 2 week Boca got 5 penalties in their favour at least 3 were fake, this was real, but it's funny because this one that was real and another one which was doubtful they missed them but they scored all the wrong called ones.:boohoo:

Yey for us. It's not the easiest thing when the team has to travel back up to Guadalajara just in time for the game vs. Atlas. So far Luis Fernando Tena is doing a fine job managing the team.

Wow football is surely generous a team were ROLANDO SCHIAVI takes part got to the quarter finals, but then again it may not be such a surprise since a team with Iarley won the club's world cup.:boohoo:

So here are the clashes...

Tuesday 15/5

Cúcuta Deportivo(COL) vs. Club Nacional(URU)

Wednesday 16/5

Club América(MEX) vs. Santos FC(BRA)
Defensor Sporting(URU) vs. Grêmio(BRA)

Thursday 17/5

Boca Juniors(ARG) vs. Libertad(PAR)

I think we'll see these semi-final clashes: Santos-Nacional and Defensor-Libertad.

So to the round of 16. Brazil got 5 teams; Mexico got 3 teams; Argentina and Uruguay got 2 teams; Venezuela, Paraguay, Chile and Colombia got 1 team. Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru didn't even get a single team. To the quarters final Brazil and Uruguay got 2 teams and Paraguay, Argentina, Colombia and Mexico got 1 single team.

Actually, that can't happen. Remember that CONMEBOL has reinstated the "teams from same nation eliminate each other" rule. Should Nacional and Defensor both reach the semi-finals (let's hope so), they would play each other.

Oh well then in that case the semi-finals will be, Defensor-Nacional and Santos-Libertad. :p

That regulation is a bit stupid, another score against CONMEBOL.:nape:

I reckon Santos is the favorite, but after winning all six of thier group games they struggled against MIGHTY Caracas...meh. America plays Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Wednesday again but I can't say I'm mad, it's one of the best problems this club has had in a long time.

Let's see... advacing to semis in Libertadores or eliminating our hated rival in the Clausura Mexicana. Tough one but no.

FINAL

Worth mentioning that América fielded a B side again (according to Fox Sports, anyway).

Other results;

Cúcuta Deportivo 2:0 Nacional
Defensor Sporting 2:0 Grêmio + Selman :nape:
Boca Juniors 1:1 Libertad

So far it seems that Defensor and Cúcuta are the revelations of this cup, wonder if they'll go any further, but yeah it's not the first time that Selman ****s up. :kader:

Certainly even with an "A" squad i don't see América making it to the semis.

And certainly i don't know about Boca's match, more likely if Libertad gets to score first everything will end there.

Just amazing, CUcuta in semis! a team which just made it to division one 2 years ago , won the division 1 for their first time last year and its their first time playing in libertadores and now this .... incredible

good for the city of cucuta!

hope they can keep making history and take the cup, but the next rivals are way harder because its either America or santos.

yeah and they are going to field an even worse team on the second leg, its pretty ovbious the priorty for america is the domestic league , which makes me pretty freaking mad, cause if they win the league well its just another league they dont have nothing to prove really in that deparment, but if they would give priorty to the libertadores they could have a chance to make history, ******* mediocre mentally of mexicans it just pisses me off lol, i starting to think that everybody was right, wtf are we doing in the libertadores in the first place if we dont give it the proper interest. :jambo:
