You know who i think will really prove himself on the world stage this summer? Thierry Henry! That's right, i think the guy will finally show the world what he is capable of.

You're both wrong about England. The player to watch is clearly Peter Crouch.

And yes, I know that Crouch has experience while Walcot doesn't, but it's still a lot funnier to think about Crouch as a world beater.

I believe he has already shown the world what he is capable of...

For people to be comparing Walcott with Ronaldo is plainly wrong. Ronaldo has had international experience at the Euro 2004 finals, been a regular for Portugal and United for the best part of three years. (plus he's four years Walcott's senior)
Walcott hasn't even figured for Arsenal yet, and he's only had one season in the second tier of English football. I really wish people in this country could take the blinkers off now and again.
Just because the almighty press hail him to the roof he's got to be world class

As far as Aaron Lennon goes, I like him and I think he's had a good season (I saw him in the preseason game at Aldershot in person) He was one of the few England players who actually did something last night too.

Stuart Downing showed flashes of skill last night - but overall the players looked to be going through the motions.

As for the breakout star of the World Cup - I have no idea, ask me on July 10th :)
