Right, well anyone here's my predictions:

1. K Raikkonen
2. L Hamilton
3. F Massa

Lewis might be fastest in practice but i reckon the Ferraris have enough.

Tom, there is a new rule. But I'll take this prediction into mind.

just for the sake of asking, you guys can seat through an entire F1 race?

ABSOLUTELY!!! In addition to that, once every few races, I watch the entire PRACTICE session that is televised (around 2 hours I think) on Friday and the entire QUALIFYING SESSION on Saturday.

Haha, Raikonnen in 15th! Can't see anyone stopping Hamilton tomorrow.

I can, i somehow doubt Alex does nowadays. :D

You can bet on that. I usually just record the race, then fastforward/skip thru most of the dull parts.

Anyway, the only hope for F1 is that the 2009 rules actually work. Standard ECUs, the all new KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) and the aerodynamic changes which according to the FIA will cut the aerodynamic downforce by half and reduce the front end dowforce loss when behind of a car from 46% to 25%.
At least it sounds promising

I'll be glad when the 2009 season starts, particularly as ITV have lost the rights to the Beeb so there'll be no more adbreaks ruining the race every 15 minutes when usually some action occurs. Oh and James Allen is a rimjob!! (H)

Too bad Super Aguri had to fold. Although I guess they would have been forced out before 2010 so it had to happen either this season or next.

I wonder how long before Torro Rosso is yanked out.

That second McLaren has been quite annoying this year. I expected Kovalainen to be a non-factor this season....

Neither...just an observation. Although, at times, that Ferrari red(very addictive) has cast a spell over me.

Nice win for Massa, he needed that. I just hope he improves on his regularity.

Gutted about what happened in GP2 though... Bruno Senna was having a great race, when he hit a dog and broke his suspension....

Monaco is always better when its raining......

So, just like last year, McLaren leave Monte Carlo with the lead in the drivers' standings.....

The Von Trapps
Nico!!! hat-trick of poles, and now finally being able to convert one to a win, at Monaco no less! and what a win! he dominated every session ... crazy, eventful race: red flags, safety cars, angry red bulls, nothing phased him ...

it's a genuine career highlight to win the most historically-significant and most prestigious race on the calendar ... a bunch of historic firsts too (first father-son winners, first Silver Arrow winner, etc.) ... extra special for Nico, since it's also his home race (not only does he live there now, he grew up there as a kid, and the tunnel was actually on his daily school run (H)) ...

unlike last year, this has to be a stepping stone for a Championship push for Nico and Mercedes ... I'll be delighted if he's in contention when I see him and the rest back at COTA in Austin later this year ...

What do you think of Daniel Ricciardo? He's my cousin

Is he really!? I've been following him for years. Was such a good test driver, I kept saying he needed a gig with a decent F1 team. Hopefully he gets Webber's seat next year
