Fans destroy Wome's car and house at Cameroon

Some fans destroyed Wome's home in Cameroon, after he failed a decisive penalty against Egypt that would have carried Cameroon to the WC. Thats always disgusting when people attacks a player, but much more in this case, cause Wome is a defender and was obbied to take the penalty as Eto'o (usual penalty launcher) ****ted on his pants and didnt want to take it.

it's ridiculous to see how far people take things... he made a mistake, but only because he was brave enough to try... it'd be just too easy to chicken out and let another player take it...

I'm sorta surprised Wome opted to take it. Sucks that he missed though. Hopefully he comes back to the club unharmed.

**** Eto. He's a pansie.

The guy who missed it is one of the most loved and respectable players in Osasuna (Webo). He played for many years in my club ( Nacional of Uruguay) and anyone there will tell you that he doesnt deserve any insults that go his way.

What in gods name? :| I read something earlier today in which Eto'o claimed "Wome came up to me and informed me that he was sure he would score, so I let him take it. But these things happen in football." or something like that. So im wondering what really happened.

Anyway, its a damn disgrace no matter which way you cut it: some "fans" to do something so animalistic. But like $teaua farcically said, at least they didnt kill anyone :(

On a side note, after Eto'o brushed Ivory Coast's chances and assured his team would beat them to the WC no matter what, I have to laugh at his foolishness and arrogance. However, while I really dislike him, I'll wait to see for sure if he did literally quaf when it came time to take the big one. :nape:
