He's sent a complaint to the Cameroon FA because he thinks they have to pay the car and house of Wome, and if Wome or his family suffer more incidents, Eto'o won't play for the NT. First of all, Wome is simply disputing what Eto'o had said. Why should I take the word of one over the other? I'm not predisposed towards one person like some people in this thread (the Real, Barca fans, bandwagon posters).

I don't think taking a penalty is based on simply one factor. It was a mix of incompetence, bad luck, pressure and indecisiveness that made Wome miss that penalty.

Wome deserves a fair share of the blame because he is the person that took the penalty kick. I'm not conding what the fans did or what Eto'o is alleged to have done.

On the first count, the way the club cleaned up after their previous reputation, I would think they cleared these people out of the club. I can believe that perhaps he racially insulted Eto'o, but many people on team boards on the internet know the guy because he is a longtime servant of the club, and they feel thats totally out of charater for him. My main point of contention is that if it were so significant as to make him spit on another human being, I would think he would follow it up with more than just a vague accusation, especially given how loud the anti-racism campaign was at the time. If he is willing to drag a mans name through the mud like that, follow it up. Its a good thing he didnt ruin the credibility of that movement. And we were lucky not to be punished? It was your players and manager who couldnt take a bit of taunting after all their big talk, and nearly started a riot after the final whistle. Then they went inside and trashed the away dressing room. So how is it we were the ones to blame?

And Collina wasnt the best, I agree (youre first penalty was a blown call, and he missed the obstruction on the final goal) but he wasnt sh*t by any means

On the second count, the comments made about Frisk were harmless at the time, and its hard to argue otherwise. But Id rather they talk about the refs than to them during the game (even if it is just to say "hello, good game")

Thirdly, I must have been misinformed. I was told he blamed his teammates for the loss and for not getting that record. But still, I think its up to the manager, captain or another long tenured player to chew out a certain part of the team publicly

Lastly, the issue there was over his supposed professionality. I dont think Jose acts like much of a professional alot of times when he speaks like an arrogant bastard, but I think its clear that his calling out of Drogba was blowback from Champions League tie
