I think he is a classless piece of dirt, personally. Any smartass comment for that? Both he and I are entitled to that opinion whether or not you like it, without being called fucking idiots

So? There are many people who I think are also classless pieces of trash, but I wouldn't wish something like this on them. There's something called common human decency. Yes, I think anyone who would wish something like anyone else deserves to be called a f*cking idiot.

There was nothing in that comment about him wishing all that extracurricular stuff to be comitted on Eto'o. I took the comment at face value, and personally if he had missed a penalty to win the group for his country, after talking down Ivory Coast before hand I wouldve laughed in delight.

However nobody, no not even madridistas, would wish that nightmare on a player, no matter who it was. Nobody said anything about wishing Eto'o hadve gotten attacked like this.



So does anyone have the final word on what happened? Did anyone see the match broadcast? Was it Eto'o who backed down or Wome who stepped up for the penalty? It seems strange, to say the least, that a world class finisher, in a win or die situation would give up a late penalty to a defender who apparrently claimed he was "confident" of scoring. Then again, Eto'o has such a big ego, I cant see him backing down from that moment.

Thank God they ONLY did they to him.

After he missed the penalty, in the last minute of the game, I said to myself: This guy will be hanged. I mean these are really poor people, with lots in life to complain about... and qualifying to the finals every 4 years for 15 years has been the only source of joy for many people there... you had to see this tragic incident coming.

And Egypt played its worst game ever, they had no motive, and many key star players didnt play (e.g. Mido).... whereas Cameroon, on the other hand, had all the motive in the world, was playing on its land, in a stadium packed full capacity, with all the star players playing...

And even though, they scored one crappy goal, and Egypt reached their goal 1-on-1 about 4 times in the game..... and scored too. They even lost to Egypt in Cairo with THREE GOALS...... Cameroon didn't deserve to qualify this year, lads. Ivory Coast was far stronger in this group....

I really wanted Cameroon to make it to the Finals, but they didn't work hard enough, plus, it WASN'T A 100% correct penalty... the referee just knew they'd shoot him on-scene if he didnt call it... you can't really blame him, after seeing what happened to the guy who missed it...

Terrible situation.

EDIT: I guess Eto'o covered his face with his jersey before the player took the penalty... it was too hard for him to watch it. Maybe this was someone else... I saw someone cover his face with his jersey and cry BEFORE the penalty was taken... and at work they told me it was Eto'o.... poor fella.

seriously, give me a break. if you know anything about eto'o, it would have taken a lot to convince him to not take that penalty. he wanted to win so badly that he offered a certain sum of money to each player should they qualify for the world cup, as an incentive to his team. he is obsessed with winning, like any good striker should be, and i'm sure it wasn't a case of chickening out. that's not eto'o, and anyone that knows anything about him will tell you that.
