There's a rumor that we just signed Anatoliy Tymoschuk from Zenit at the end of the season for 10 million euros, the same price we're getting from Koln for Poldi. Good buy.

it would be great, shame it's only a rumor but i hope cause we need a "number 4" and next summer we'll be losing:
poldi, to köln, rensing hope in die dritte liga lol, we lost sagnol for end career, oddo is on loan, van bommel wishes to go, ze roberto too, then kroos is at leverkusen, one amongst lucio-micho-v.buyten, klose or toni of course, ribery wishes to go in barcelona, who will play the season 2009-2010? me, ShiftyPowers, desiler, hendrik and other 7 guys grom soccergaming? what a mess........

yes, barcelona wants ribery but not only barcelona, and ribery wants to leave munchen so we are losing him, the price around 30-35 millions i guess......

Alexander Baumjohann will join Bayern from Borussia Mönchengladbach this summer, it was officially confirmed on Tuesday. The 22-year-old, who moves on a free transfer, has inked a deal binding him to the Munich club until 30 June 2012.

“I think anyone who plays football will appreciate that this is an attractive opportunity. I see it as a huge chance,“ Baumjohann told respected sports journal kicker. The player says he is not intimidated by the intense competition for places at Bayern, especially in midfield: “I know what I can do – and I believe in myself. I trust in my ability to make it at Bayern, otherwise I’d never have taken up the offer. I’ll get my chance at some point, and then it’s up to me to take it.“

The attacking midfielder switched from Schalke to Mönchengladbach two seasons ago and has made a total of 18 Bundesliga appearances to date. He provided the assist for Rob Friend to pull a goal back in Bayern’s 2-2 draw at Borussia Park last autumn. Baumjohann struck his maiden Bundesliga goal away to Bremen last August, running fully 70 metres with the ball before netting what would later be voted Goal of the Month by viewers of the ARD Sportschau.

I'm a bit sad. I'm sure he'll find another great team next summer, but I really wanted to see him playing with Ribery again (It seems Ribery won't stay longer, too ) and of course in a team like Bayern.

Yes, totally close with Cana, we have Tymoschuk and it's ok, don't think Cana and Ribery will play again together cause Ribery will not be never back in Marseille and Cana would be playing surely in England, shame cause with Cana+Tyimo we could play with 4 strikers lol

Olic = free, suberb for a 3rd choice. Proven player on Croatian NT, proven in Bundesliga in one of the top clubs.
Tymoschuk = incredible holding mid, how can you complain...I can't think of many def. mids that top him

Honestly, I think we could go for Cana and put him in the same midfield with Tymoschuk and then play our wingers further up the pitch. Those two in midfield would be hell for any playmaker we meet in Europe. 2 holding midfielders isn't that uncommon today particularly against very strong teams, and to be honest, it seems like we've been playing a flat 4-4-2 the last year or so, I don't see why we couldn't do it with Tymoschuk and Cana.

Tymoschuck is more box to box type, so I could see them playing sort of like Mascherano and Gerrard.

There is a difference Gerrard is more of an attacking midfielder even though he often is used in a holding role. He is a lot more gifted than both Cana and Tymo. Hell even Marcherano is much more gifted than tham both.

We need a Diego type of player. Imagine us having Tymo, Schweinny, Diego and Ribery if he stays in the midfield. Dynamite i tell ya.

I know that is dreaming, i am 100% sure we will play with Tymo, Schweinny, Baumjohan and Olic feeding Toni and Klose.

Well yeah Gerrard and Mascherano are more talented, they are the best players at their positions in the world.

The problem I have with a playmaker like Diego is that the team gets too dependent on sending the ball through him and when a team concentrates on eliminating the playmaker from us we don't have any other options.

If you play with 2 wings, then in the center you need two great defensive players, but at the same time, one of them must be great attacker, too. That's advantage of Gerard.

Van Bommel will leave Bayern at the end of the season, there is a rumour that talks about Stuttgart but I don't think so, anyway he'll be going away, shame cause he's a great player and this year our captain......
