I guess you'd rather watch him hog the ball like there was no tomorrow and **** up half of our attacking plays...understandable since you're a Benfica fan. It's like me wanting Roberto to forever be a starter for your team.

I was there yesterday and didn't like some aspects of the team. The defence definitely needs more tuning, I hope Fucile stays and Otamendi can become an important, solid starter.
Hulk has got to start releasing the ball, once he did Porto were another team (second half).
Other than that I liked the fact Villas Boas is implementing new tactical options, like the diamond 4-4-2 (or a kind of 4-1-3-2) like last night

Sapu has been doing quite well but Fucile is definitely my first option for RB too...in case he does stay M.Lopes should be loaned out.
The players were too relaxed yesterday, especially in defense...I didn't like Palito's performance for instance, AVB should have given him some rest...dude's been playing non-stop for a long time now.
The CBs were also too light-headed, I do believe Otamendí is going to get in there soon.
Hulk was too emotional because of his personal tragedy not to want to make things happen all by himself.
The penalty miss worsened that feeling on him so I was glad he scored soon enough...after putting that over-eagerness aside his discernment improved and he did contribute with some quality football.
He's one of those players that just can't avoid playing in the risk though, it's in this blood.
Football would be a bore without crazy ass skillz from mo'fo's like The Incredible Hulk
About Meireles, I just think the fee is a bit low considering he's had a good WC and all but given his mental status we were sort of obliged to transfer him...plus he's now 27, just about the right time for him to leave and us to sell.
So in case the deal does get confirmed, good luck to Raúl in Liverpool.

both goals we've conceeded came from long range strikes so there was not much the defenders could do, maybe Helton could've pulled a couple of majestic saves though
you can't be focusing on the CBs I reckon, since Rolando was very solid and Maicon was simply IMPERIAL.
Palito was great too, and Sapu did an ok job...I wouldn't mind putting Fucile out there though, he surely gives us that extra quality going forward.
btw, Fernando. OMFG, he's turned into an absolutely fantastic midfielder
