Well looking at mr. iceflows recent comments, it wont really do any good discussing this with him any further. Clearly he's either in denial or changed to the EA-religion. So no matter what I and others write to him, we'll get either cocky or supposedly "better-knowing" answers back.

And looking at his contradiction and the comment that all recent games suck - i wouldnt trust or count on anything he writes here. So let him have his opinion and we'll have ours :)

FIFA and PES both have areas in which they suck. But's it's funny that so many people are out that were saying how Pes 3 was better than Fifa and now they are now saying PES sucks. Make up your minds people. Anyways i have played both games and i am not impressed that much. Both games are difficult to master, but the good thing is that in time you will master it. And you won't even know the difference between a bad game and a good game. So just buy or download whateva hit's your fancy and don't let people tell you what to think. If you think Fifa is Better? fine, If you think PES 3 is better, fine.

Hello this is my first reply...

I played fifa since the first version released... and really was for a long time the game of my life... I loved it all... it's graphics and gameplay! Everything!! Fifa 98 was probably the best of the series and i also loved the World Cup 2002.. it was very funny...

But, one day, i buyed a Playstation 1 for 50 € and it came with a game... International Superstar Soccer 2...

The graphics weren't good... and in my first game i lost 0-5 vs Austria... i was playing with Portugal!

My copy of ISS was almost kicked out of my house! But if i had lost 0-5 it was because i needed to learn better the game! So i played again, and again, until i SCORED A GOAL! And the sensation was sooo goood!!! And i become addicted of the series...

All Fifa's were... "mathematical"... if you shoot in (this happens in EVERY VERSIONS of Fifa) that place, with that strong and that direction, you score the goal in the same place and the goalie will make the same move 10000 times!! It's pure MATHEMATIC... there's no AI on Fifa... only if and else statements...

On Pro Evolution Series... well... AI is present and a GREAT gameplay! and the graphics and commentarys aren't a great thing... the aspects that FIFA is better (but isn't EA the marketing king of all sports games?? they know what sells!!!)

Playing nowadays fifa 2004 and Pro Evolution Soccer 3 it's like compare Windows with Linux... One is the marketing king... but the other is better...

Nowadays the Pro Evolution Soccer community is growing... everyday!! FIFA fans are fewer... just like those OS... is a perfect analogy!

i feel like i was a victim of Marketing and now i feel released... so all Fifa fans... open your eyes... because is a better out there to be known!

Has anyone in here ever played PES3 and when you missed a great opportunity at goal you actually feel like falling to your knees and holding your face in your hands? Can another soccer video game make a grown man feel this way? i really doubt so.

Some of the comments made in this thread are truly hilarious. There are actually ppl in the world such as this? People who actually prefer EA's gameplay? ...Oh heck then again there are ppl who pierce every concievable part of their bodies.

Now i know how Arnold became Governor of California

I couldn't stand waiting so I went out and bought Winning Eleven 6, to try the game out.

I should have done this about 7 years ago. That is how long I have been robbed by EA. I am never buying Fifa again. WE6 kicks every version of Fifa's *ss. The graphics are amazing, the gameplay is amazing and can take you away from every other thing you do. The more I play the more I find that there is to this game(the antithesis of Fifa-the more I played the faster I got bored)

I can't wait for WE7 to come out for PS2. But till then I will be immersed in WE6 and my Fifa2K4 will make a fine door stop.

Bredin, that's what I love most about PES 3.

You really feel the game.

When I used to play fifa, it was all pure maths...You learned some standard moves that made you score, and then you went and done them and that was all. It never made me jump up when I scored, or curse when I lost a goal...NEVER.

But with PES 3 , you get to FEEL the game, because it's totally unpredictable. That's why I love it.
