Question for everyone.. I LOVE the mod. But is there a particular slider set that is recommended for this? Or is everything meant to be at 50?

I tried a lot of sliders and this set was the best I found. Personally, I prefer to leave the speed on normal and 6 minutes per half-time.

In difficulty, I put "World Class".

FIFA 18 fakeassc's Sliders

Hey FIFA on OS. This is the first time I've posted my sliders. I hope you enjoy them (I've been playing them in Career). If you have time/feel like trying a new slider set, feel free to try and come back with some reviews/constructive criticism about them. I'll try to improve them as the year goes on.

10 minute halves, World Class, Slow.

If you like, play Legendary, but I feel like World Class is a more open, free-flowing game compared to Legendary. Legendary, I play safe and scared of the CPU, with a lot of my chances whiffing or being saved (I might just be bad at Manual shooting), leading to way too many goalless draws. Legendary is OK if you can handle it.

Controls: Everything on Manual except Saves.

Sprint Speed 50/49

Acceleration 50/49

- This is because I'm tired of CPU defender's recovering like unstoppable beasts haha. If you feel like that's not an issue for you, make it 50/50. I think 50/49 is fair.


Shot Error 45/50

- I think playing on Manual, the User should be allowed to be more clinical with their shooting. The CPU sometimes is able to score off a "scripted" play where they are unstoppable in passing/my GK can't save. I feel like this is a good balance between the CPU being crazy clinical on one play every game.

Pass Error 75/75

- Very high pass error so this reduces the "cheese" of over-the-top hoofball and throughballs. Weighing passes should be important like in real life. Also, wing-to-wing lob passes when switching your attack should not meant to be 100% accurate anymore.
Shot Speed 50/50

Pass Speed 40/40


- I feel like this slower pass speed means that there is less "ping pong" passing. You can recover better against the CPU and also, build-up is more gradual and slow rather than just "quick, short ground passes into a through-ball into a goal".


GoalKeeper Ability - 50/50


- I'm not reducing this because I don't want GK to be idiotic. I'm not increasing this because I don't want GK to be superhuman.


Marking 35/35


- Why I set marking lower is because I think, watching real-life games, there is no need for extremely tight marking. This leads to more space to account for a high Pass Error slider. Passes are not perfect, but neither is defensive marking.


Run Frequency 70/70


- I played with Run Frequency at 100 and creating chances was so so easy, leading to end-to-end play. It is exciting, but not every football match is really like this. I think 70/70 is a fair balance, and it shows changes in the pace of play, between build-up and fast-breaking.


Positioning – Line Height 65/65


- Higher line means defenders can be involved in build-up and back-passing is not completely tedious. This promotes the CPU to not just relentlessly push forward, but instead be more careful. Also, high lines just seem to be popular anyway.


Positioning – Line Length 30/30

- Team stays compact. This balances with the high line to give a tighter midfield around the centre circle. This leads to quick turnovers in possession when passing if you are not careful, which is the case in real life.


Positioning – Line Width 50/50

FullBack Positioning 65/65


- FullBacks pushing up is a comon thing. Attacking and supportive FBs are in fashion in modern football and I think this should be the case in FIFA too.
First Touch Control Error 80/80

- This FT Control is largely to increase the turnover in possession when making risky plays into crowded areas. In real-life football, a brilliant first touch is prized among all players, with safety in defence and genius in offence. I have this error very high but it makes the "ping pong" pass attack less effective.

I would like to know if there is any information about new leagues /teams. For example, as a resident of Belarus, I would like to have the opportunity to play for some Belarusian clubs and clubs of other countries
For example: Dinamo Minsk, Kairat, Vorskla, Clubs from the second League of Russia, real Madrid Castilla, etc
Is it possible for them to appear in the game?

I do not think so. Especially that before the championship Belarus, there would be that of Bulgaria or Croatia for example.

The problem is that even FIP can not add more teams or championships it seems to me. Already there it is complicated and we must choose to have a complete championship (kits etc)

I like a slower pace than normal, but I also play about the same 7 minutes per half. That's been my time standard for FIFA for over 10 years. Those slider numbers look pretty good. But there must be a lot of good tweaks in the mod because the game felt very different from anything I had played before except for a mod made by another member here once. I downloaded 4.1, it was a really nice gameplay experience.

Just some specific questions
- I see the Champions League is featured, but can I play it on its own or would I have to expose it into a country's tournaments for individual Tournament play?
- I have a Lukaku face I like using, I used to know how to plug it into Frosty but can I do it in CGFE? I have no idea where or how. I have an fbmod and archive file for it.

However, I see some problems: Borussia Dortmund is impossible to play. Always freeze before the game (friendly or career mode) begins.
National Teams need to be updated, not only just kits like Germany and France, but teams that already missing kits like Bulgary, Paraguay and Ivory Coast, but the squads as well (For example, Brazil still has Oscar! and France Mbappe's number is still 12).

Manchester City, Cruzeiro, Barcelona and other teams have problems with kits and emblems (It's possible to see a translucid "EITHAD" in kits).

I have a request, if possible. I know that is a tough decision, but this mod is called "Community"; Is it possible to replace League 3 (Germany) and Women National League (I hope that everyone already played it) to put some teams (like missing main South American ones as Nacional (URU), Peñarol (URU), Olimpia (PAR), Cerro Porteño (PAR), Bolivar (BOL), Emelec (EQU), Barcelona de Guayaquil (EQU), etc.) and improve Libertadores and Sudamerica Cups? The teams are already done by Emi Stark from Fifa-argetina in his patch (F-A MOD 18).

I think German league 3 should stay. We will not remove a championship that brings a little more to the game.

Or, leave the choice but it would surprise me that Sebbastos is pissed at doing two separate versions.

Hi. Great work on the patch but for the next update, can you guys PLEASE fix Manchester United kits? The kits for this season are like this...

And you can get the Away Pink kit from here...https://www.moddingway.com/file/231671.html

Also the colour for the number has to be changed for the Home Shorts (is black number on black shorts....should be white), and if you add the pink kit for the away, make the back numbers and names black and for the blue, 3rd kit it's golden.

I would love if you could add this to the next patch. I tried to modify this myself but when I finished work I couldn't save and lost all of the work.....4 times :(

So PLEASE, help me with this one. I don't even care that Chong will retire to take care of his grand kids because he is to old :) Just want those kits...

And just a question....is there any Champions League Ball in the patch because I have the generic EA ball for the UCL Competition. I always thought it was just me...

My game just doesnt open, I made all the steps, Loaded de MOD, but when I hit the "Play" nothing happens.

Someone with the same problem?
