Greetings Harry, first of all excellent work with the patch

But I have a confusion problem when downloading and installing the patch

My question is what files should I download??? and where should I place them? because I have previously downloaded all the files that you published and I have installed them in the game installation root and when it comes to opening the game it exits when the Messi home screen appears

Currently 'wipe3d' folder does not exist in sceneassets folder, is this normal?
When I play exhibition match between premier league team and the english league 2 team, the logo which appears in the beginning of the match seems to be missing.

I have the same problem. Many players are retiring early.

Players retiring too early is a "feature" of FIFA 14 since the beginning of times, this has nothing to do with the mod. This can be sorted by editing playerretirement.ini on the dlc folder, but I'm not sure about the best parameters.

That's how default FIFA 14 used to be. HBZ Career mod v4 will fix this.

There are some stadiums that do not have lighting at night and are cloudy.

I also have the same problem, in the pack stadiums, I set the game at 10pm and when the game starts the sky is dark, but on the field it is daytime. I already have the rendering patch file in the folder, and the problem continues

I have played all versions of FIP and I never cease to be surprised with each update, it is almost perfect! The only problem I have noticed with this latest version is the withdrawal of young players. everything else: perfect. Congratulations to Harry and the community

You do not have to regenerate every time. You only need to regenerate after you have installed everything and selected the DB from Version Manager.
The facepack is optional - a new version is coming.
You also do not need Tournament Manager unless you edit the DB.

There is no conference league in the patch YET, only CL and EL which you can clearly see on the progress update post.
It may be added later on

I know it's not a conference league. But in Romania if you win the cup, you play in the Europa League. In the game this does not happen.

What do you mean?

I know it's not a conference league. But in Romania if you win the cup, you play in the Europa League. In the game this does not happen.

With the basic version, I do not have all of the extra European teams or the Conference League, so the qualification rules are different to the real world. When/If I do a version with all 3 UEFA competitions it will be closer to real life.

Conference yes, but you cannot have real groups. That is no longer an option in Career mode.

Honestly, I can't remember. It hasn't been updated for a couple of years, but of course, is newer than the 1.4 release. I need to mention that on each release.
I think the subboards and specific kit number code for the cup competition were added. I think I updated the accessories allocation too in winter, so you had things like, players would only wear gloves in snow or rain, but not when it is dry. Forced long sleeves in snow. Stuff like that.

Yeah, I can probably combine the CP updates. I might add some of the newer RM16 features that are compatible too. It does need to make sense for this mod though as I needed scouser to help me add the subboards, so might need his help. I have some gaps in knowledge.

I'll add it to my list.

And Harry, isn't there a way to set the new Premier League ball as the default in Career Mode?

Double-click the script "FIFA 14\script_activate_winter_balls.bat"
This will enable all winter balls for all leagues. As long as you haven't deleted the specificball files.
You do not have to regenerate and can do it at any time throughout the season.

Note: This script is replaced by "FIFA 14\script_activate_summer_balls.bat" after it has been run once. By double-clicking this it will revert all balls to summer versions.

..just a few suggestions..

1. I've had to rename all the Leagues related adboards in order to see the individual Team adboards when playing with teams from the same league. It' 50 files. Only the leagues ones! Bulk rename them like this.

specificadboard_0_X_0_0.rx3 -> where X = League ID -> specificadboard_0_0_0_X.rx3
specificadboard_0_X_0_0.rx3 -> where X = CUP ID -> leave those as they are!

2. Included FC24 Balls models are not ok. They make the normals look inverted IN-GAME!
I've only checked the Priemiere league, Bundesliga and Serie A balls, but I suppose all other models were taken from the same source and are not ok too.

Luckily there are these 4 packages by MF98 which not only include the correct FIFA14 models, but also proper FIFA14 normals/coeffs (in FIFA14 its 2 in 1) all thanks to Dmitri and tokke001.
The difference has to be seen in-game!

If you want to sign a prime Mbappe you're going to need to spend northwards of £200m. So don't expect to be signing top players for small clubs like Accrington Stanley or Tottenham.

If you want to sign the next big thing, well-known youngsters won't come cheap. Putting some time into GTN scouting across the globe may uncover some hidden gems at half the price. Or maybe choose to invest £30m into your youth scouting network and uncover the next Haaland.

That said if youth isn't what you're looking for and you do want to sign some of the top stars, maybe it is worth paying attention to age, form, and contract length. Or with the enhancements to player growth, retirement age, less decline in stats for the over 30's, you might find that aging goal scorer may be worth signing.
