The balls should be updated, for example in the Bundesliga the classic ball that was used for three dates appears, in the Premier League the first ball appears, not the third phase ball, and so on with all the leagues.

Yes, you can install the updates and it won't affect your current DB. AS LONG as you don't load the new DBs using Version Manager.

The balls do not need updating.
I can't make balls available for a single day so I have to make a compromise...
As in the last version of FIP14 if you want to use the balls that are used in the second half of the season you double-click on this file: "FIFA 14\script_activate_winter_balls.bat"
This needs to be done outside of the game.
You can also switch back to summer balls by double-clicking the file that appears after activating the winter balls script.
Which HBZ patch are you playing?

The Brazilian league ball is the one from last year.
You can ask ILNUR127.
I'm going to edit it with CM14, I think it can be done in the case of balls.

Having read through the description it looks very much like this patch tries to get rid of unnecessary rendering etc. which will definitely benefitial on older PCs. I bought myself a brand new gaming PC last year, and the problems that drive us all crazy are still there. Besides all the "usual" problems (like frame drops) there's also this element of the game choosing to respond to controller input with some delay in some situations (and the more intense a match gets the more often this seems to happen at some point).
I find one of the theories from that reddit thread pretty plausible: the game chooses from a set of animations when you tell your player to do something, player gets the ball etc. Some are slower than others. You don't have any influence on which one will be chosen. While the animation is being executed there is no way to interrupt it. Then you'll have a 1:1 chance that either your controller input has been lost completely or will be executed far too late (always good for a red card when a tackle was delayed this way).
This is extremely frustratinig. And having searched for years I have not found any cure to this. If somebody does (which, unfortunately, seems pretty unlikely at this point) this would make me jump up and down. But my feeling is that my bones will keep having the rest they need

Hi Harry, big fan here. I noticed that the CM works well when simulating but when I want to play(especially UCL) , the game freezes at kit select and later crashes. I used Man City and I used the FIP 7.20 Basic ST. Also adding the additional leagues, will it cause crash for CM( like England NL teams)?

FIFA 14 format kits with patches
It was identified that I didn't have the badges/sponsors on the kits in the first release. This affects thousands of kits. I now have a new method of adding the badges, but I need time to learn how to do it efficiently. I will add badges/sponsors eventually as I want a complete 23/24 season kit pack. If it bothers you, you can swap the FIP14 kits for the FIP16 kits. Any new kits I add will have badges/sponsors.
New kit overlays
For the same reason as above I am putting this on hold. Any new kits that require an overlay will be updated.
Mega face pack
This is simply a time issue. I do not think I have any faces that users cannot download themselves. This shouldn't be a big deal. I have added an optional link to the v5 facepack on the first page.
FIP Master DB release
I have decided not to release this. It's simple. Not enough people READ and this DB will produce many questions.
Fix FC24 boot models and animations
I have been offered a solution that may or may not work in this thread, but I do not have the time to experiment.

I have deliberately not added the additional leagues to the release schedule above. These things will be released as a surprise as and when they are ready.
