First movie, the character is bought by Newcastle United from MLS team.
Second movie, the character is bought by Real Madrid and fulfills his Champions League dream.
Third movie, the character represents his country in the 2006 WC and probably fulfills his WC dream as usual.

Given the US tendency to get things wrong in movies, I would say it probably is, based on the fact that on the main site under the 'Star Players' column they have "Beckham, Raul, Zidane and NEWCASTLE MANAGER ALAN SHEARER" hahaha unless it is meant to be a joke, pointing at who really controls that bloody club.

Good movie, I liked it. Well shot and good action. Can't wait for the 2nd movie :chew:

btw, he was never on an MLS team.

Almost finish the torrent. (Can't watch it at the cinema because of the lack of time this month) :boohoo: :boohoo: My friends have watched it at the cinema. Would have preferred to do so but....Maybe the 2nd and 3rd.

I can't believe that they are not showing it in cinemas that are anywhere near me. In fact i don't even know if they are showing it in Canada at all :kader: . They showed Shaolin Soccer for like half a year, but not this.

I think it comes out next year in the States, I read somewhere that'll be out on New Year's Day but you never know. We'll have to wait until then.
