Yea Ramos did well. Hey you never know he might come in a do better than Rooney, and 40M I don't think so maybe 24m not 40m.

Didnt Ukraine say they were goin to the semifinals sh!t I think they ment they were going to be watching the semis.

We didn't need help from the referee but it's welcome :jap:

Torres goal: IMO goal of the championship so far :jap:

Xavi MoM, incredible. Puyol and Torres also made an awesome match :jap:

The only think that hasn't convinced me, the performance of the 3 attackers vs closed defenses. Reyes would have been a great adittion.

VAMOS ESPAÑAAAAA!!!! :D

Shevchenko sucks :boohoo: Great display from Villa, Torres, Senna, Ramos (Y)

Honestly how can you say Sheva sucks when he had absolutely NO help the entire game? Did Torres, Senna, Ramos and Villa do it all on their own? No, they had a strong midfield that fed them balls and they worked for their chances and crossed in good balls while the Ukraine midfield was nowhere to be found. Everyone knows Sheva is a box forward, he's not the type that will come to midfield and recover balls for himself then dribble around 4 defenders and score a goal. If Sheva doesn't get good service in the box he's gonna be useless and Ukraine did not do a good job of that today.

Very impressive display from Spain though, let's see if they can keep it up.

Great attacking display by Spain... but this also has to be said once again: things went their way today...

Their finishing rate was gr8, and they did nothing wrong... but Ukraine looked very dazed after those two early blows... they weren't very convincing today... and they had a player wrongfully sent off, when the defence was already showing signs of discomfort...

in terms of football rules, there was a clear penalty and a red card...1. There's a shorts pull by the Ukrainian defender, Vashchuk i think.... 2. And Vashchuk was the last defender...in the first replay i didnt see anything wrong with his tackle but when i saw the third replay, this tiny tiny pulling of the Torres shorts made me sure about the penalty decision

Anyway, Spain pulled out a great performance...and that 4th goal...oh, mama mia :rockman: Puyol is a beast...first he made that briliant nutmeg and then making 1-2 with his teammate and giving this pass with the header to Torres....just beautiful :)

What a performance. I take back what I said bad about Aragones.

That worked to perfection. Great performance.

Puyol on that last goal :fool: :jap:

ultimately i think spain gave the performance that we expected from the brazilians spain flew under the radar and like brazil have many stars however they were the only ones that showed up to play on their world cup opener

4-0? :|

Would have been better if Denmark were there. Only saw the first 30 minutes, and Ukraine looked crap...did they continue like that for the rest of the game?

Well played by Spain though. (Y)
