I think nady doesn't watch games that don't feature utd, he just forms his opinions of players based on what he hears on the Internet.

This is more or less my reasoning, and this isn't taking into consideration the fact that United has really good players on the bench who I think tilt the balance. United start Rooney and Fellaini, sure, but they have Schneiderlin, Herrera, and Schweinsteiger on the bench while City is already down to who? Delph and Nasri?

You deliberately dismiss Fernando and Gundogan, Gundogan is better than Schneiderlin/Herrera/Carrickwhen fit.

I watch EPL games dude. I don't watch other leagues because I don't have access to them. Canadian TV channels only show EPL, Champions League and world cup/euros.

Gundo hasn't been fit since the 2013 Champions League Final. Fernando is not a great player, he's pretty much the definition of average.

So you watch epl games but not la liga games, so you have literally only seen otamendi shit games for city and not even his (semi)good ones in Spain, yet you regularly proclaim him 'world class'. Explain.

I have never seen his mediocre side at City TBH. Everytime I have seen him play for City, he's been good.

Maybe I have seen him enough to call him "worldclass" but I have to call him this way to back my draft team and looks like your strategy to sway peoples attention from Messi is working.

Edit; i meant maybe I have not seen him enough to call him worldclass. Forgot the "not".

What makes Pep special isn't buying players (most of his purchases are flops) or anything else, it's that he is the best teacher in the world. Players respect him and listen and he turns them into smart players.

Yeah I was gonna say he is pretty mediocre in the transfer market.... I guess it goes against conventional perspectives of what constitutes good management

The guys that don't listen, regardless of how much talent they have (like Zlatan), just don't make it. And I think most big money signings go into a new club with that feeling. Oh the club spend 40m on me, that means they want me to keep doing the same thing I've always done and I can't be dropped.

Although it's pretty early to talk about that, I think he made some smart moves in the market this summer with Nolito, Sane and Stones. All 3 seem like "good boys" who are willing to learn from him, especially the last two being younger than Nolito. He also got rid of Yaya, Mangala, Bony and Nasri who might have cause problems in the dressing room. But overall you're right. He's far from the best when it comes to making transfers.

I think the jury is out on Sane. I have not seen anything to this point that indicates he should be getting any minutes for City. Nolito is outstanding, but I guess it makes sense because Pep knows him as a young player.
