I dont understand why people rate this over FIFA.
Snail pace game my a$$! If you're talking about ISSPE1 or 2, try hitting the button on your PSX controller labelled "Start", now select "Game Speed" and put it to the speed you feel like. The gamespeed in PES is just very realistic, try it.
Unresponsive control. Please elaborate on this one. What is so unresponsive about it?
Skill moves, schnill moves. In Fifa you can practically dribble the lengt of the pitch with say Tony Adams by using these stupid moves. How often do you see Lee Dixon performing a socalled "Rainbow kick" anyway? Or how often do Ronaldo do a socalled 360 spin? You see, ISS tries to
simulate real footy, Fifa don't.
Commentry, yes, it sucks. Your point being?
Meh graphics? Far better than Fifa I tell you. The graphics in Fifa 2002 are really grainy, and pixelated. The graphics and PES is very smooth and flowing.
Players and club names. Yeah, sure, that's a thing I'd like seen added in a ISS version, but it is still a minor detail. KCET has unlike EA Sports actually tried to simulate footy by making the gameplay as realistic as possible, not by adding the Norwegian or Greek league (Who cares anyway?).
I must admit though, I enjoyed World Cup 98 for about two weeks, but honestly, what has been improved in the Fifa series since the release of the WC98 game? Nothing, if you ask me. They've actually managed to make the game worse!
