For me you may field the best 11 players and 5 best subs and win everything that there is to win, and that would be cool for me, but when you start buying players to make them sit in the stands solely so they cannot play against you, then it's a bit too much imo.

For example Chelsea doesn't want Gallas and Crespo to move while they clearly stated they want to leave, we let the "english student" leave but we are rich enough to put him in the San Siro stands till 2009 if we wanted to,but we didn't, that is the difference between class and scum imho.

Only much later did I realise there was the soccer forum. I never was very interested in the views of kids, whatever the subject. Reading your stuff mate, I can see my judgement was spot on. If you want to learn anything in life, do yourself a favour and listen to people who have already been there and done it. Its your youth that makes you act in a juvenile way. Ok, calling Chelsea scum was not very friendly I agree, but still I see no one argumenting the point of my post, which is you can only field 11 players and make 3 substitutions, let's say we add 3 more for rotations sake, that makes 17. Why do you need 34? An example, Wright-Philips was a base player in Man City, how many times did he play in Chelsea? Very little I think. When you start buying players to put them in the stands so they don't play against you then it's over the top, still imo of course.

Also Sheva and Ballack are not used sitting on the bench, even if "the special one" is the coach, they are both very hard headed, I think CFC has some others already, ain't that going to give frictions in the dressing room? It's good to have a bunch of stars, but try to make a team out of that bunch is not easy, We'll see.

About SWP, point taken. He should leave Chelsea to play more often.

But then again, no one forced him to sign for Chelsea, they didn't point a gun to his head, he went there knowing his chances to play and succeed, especially at his young age. If you're intelligent enough to see you already earn enough money at Man City and you do what you most like (playing regular football), thus developing into a better player, you see it's too early to sign for a big club. But if he only wants more money, playing or not at all, he did well signing for Chelsea.
