Wow.. Finally I miss you guys on this topics cos' I've been busy with my friend's computer.

I can't wait to install the patch,.. I will get it on monday at my dad's office, there is ADSL available at there. Now I use only 56k modem that's really suck.

Any way, ALIK .. KOCHUNG or anyone else that tried the jap. commentary patch yet. Is this patch has a called name for those netherland players? You can here JON KABIRA speak out those Netherland player..... Van Nistelrooy --> Van Nistelroam or somthing lol. That's is great instead of calling their back number.

So is those called name available in Jap Commentary patch yet? Thanks for you help.

No, it doesn't have th netherland players,
which is weird cuz when I was playing WE7 for the PS2, they do pronounce the bogus names.

For example, they will pronounce Diouf -> Denpo.

At least better than the shirt number.

I imported the two folders (160 and 170) into my data_e file. The AFSextract tells me that there is not enough space reserved. So I decided to modify the size of those 2 folders (160game_snd and 170demo) into the data_e file to make them larger. In this way I could import the japanese ones. But....when I launch the game, while it is loading, it send me back to my desktop ! AAAAARRRGGHHH:kader: Oh my...will I ever be able to listen to my Kabira?:(

finally dloaded it, I opened the data_e file into afsextract, then I chose: import file, and did it twice to import those 2 files. But when I want to launch the game, the game itself won't load... instead of that, my cpu usage raises to 100% and I have to terminate the process... am I doing something wrong?

The Dutch players are still called by numbers. Because this Japanese commentary was made by extracting the Japanese commentary from WE7 then substituting each sentence/word file in English Commentary by the Japanese commentary files. So it is a great work by the maker.

So even a few names are still in English such as Davids and Bosvelt because PES3 got the Juventus and Feyenood license but WE7 doesn't have them. But I'm sure 99% in this commentary is in Japanese.

By the way, the explaination in training mode will still be in English in the version I uploaded. Because it doesn't matter......

No way...I tried everything...the latest version is that now when I import the 2 folders it says "folder imported" and "couldn't find 160game_snd.afs folder" ?!?!?!? Isn't that weird???Anyway,...I launch the game and the commentary is still in english.:kader:

I give up:(

you have to select 160game.afs (on the right column) en then import file, then select the japanese file, then OK.

I can import it perfectly, but I can't load the game...anyone know what the problem could be?

well, I have been exploring some stuff and found out that:

160game.afs and 170demo.afs contains EXACTLY the SAME files, BUT the overall file size is different...:kader:

so I think someone uploaded the wrong file... can someone fix it pls and upload the right 160game.afs? The 170demo.afs is fine, but the 160game.afs contains the 170demo.afs files...

i think you downloaded the wrong file.

did you download Japanese Commentary.rar?

unzip it and this is the only correct file.

*edit* sigh, I just imported the file at the wrong way.... I had to choose to import the dloaded file in the folder 160game_snd.afs instead of choosing the folder 160game.afs... DOH

thnx, the japanese commentary is indeed much better, not only when someone scores a goal :)

Well,... thank you so much KOCHUNG for the reply. I have to disturb your time again. I wonder that those unlicensed player such as DUTCH team that you have mentioned that it's still be the shirt number called so that shirt number called is in ENGLISH or JAPANESE sound.

I've tried to download this file from the FTP 4 times now. Twice it has stopped after about 30mb, the other 2 it has got to about 230mb before cutting out. So frustrating! FTPs are sh*t!! I have never had one work properly for me - i'm just cursed with them. I'm using WsFTP, so no reason why it shouldn't work. Can someone put this on a normal site, or bittorrent it. Or even put it on Kazaa!

I hate to complain, but I have broadband here, and the FTP is going really slow. You'd think after 6 pages somebody would put this as a Torrent by now.

Can't use eDonkey, I am not installing no spyware piece of ... Especially because even on broadband I would leave the program on for hours and only download about 5 MB.

So some mirrors please?

I second that. Edonkey destroyed my computer last timei used it. Got majorly infected with some nasty trojan thngy, so going nowhere near it again. I too am on broadband and was getting slow speeds also with that FTP. Left it overnight twice, and both times it cut off at about 230mb!

Sooner someone can mirror this elsewhere the better.

Thx for the reply. Yes, I downloaded the right file. Anyway you were right: I imported the file and it seems to work. But I couldn't import both the files. I made it only for the 160game_snd, for the other one I can not do it because it says that there's not enough room. The result is that I still hear english commentary during replays...not a tragedy, it's better than before:)
