Even though I don't have it yet, I believe you extract the rar file with WinRAR. Extract 160game_snd.afs and 170demo.afs, then use AFSExtract to overwrite the existing files in "date_e.afs"

Sorta like installing a kit, same process.

well, i know that much but its not as easy when u try it

currently, when i click import folder, I get error for every file
cannot open file ... and it gives me a senseless name because all the filenames inside 160game_snd.afs are random characters and not real names

Did you try extracting the files to the C:\ drive? Perhaps the file names are too long, which causes AFSExtractor to give an error message for EACH file (it happened to me for Wolf's pack until I extracted to C:\). Make sure you extract it to just C:\ and no other folder.

Either that or it's corrupted, which I highly doubt as it seems it extracted well for you.

I am currently at 3% of the download...less than 7 hours left :/.

ok nevermind the first error i get
i get the same error as someone else, i get not enough room please rebuild the afs.. and the files are on the c drive too....
and for the ppl that are getting other errors,
you guys have to extract the afs files u download into seperate folders
and then import those folders into the data_e.afs file
u cant just click import folder and chooose the afs file itself

I think that this file is corrupt because I dont think anyone has it working so far... and I keep getting different errrors
when i tried using afs explorer to open the afs file, it said it cant read certain #'s ????

Ouch, that doesn't sound too good, 14% for me, 6 hours left.

I hope it doesn't get corrupted, my old hard drive has a history of corrupting downloaded files.

If I can get it to work, I will give the details on how to fix it.

Omg that's bull**** i just downloaded around 150MB's and then it failed. Oh well i thought as i was just gonna resume the file :D

But what do ya know it can't resume!!! from his Ftp :/ Bullox!!!

So yeah please if anyone have the right file and it is working in pes3 (make sure its working) make a bitorrent file so we all can all enjoy a commentary who says Gooooooaaaaaalllllllll!!! ;)

Dragon, are you using a download program? Download Accelerator Plus works well for me, it says "Resume supported".

Got two in a half hours left. Can't say I will miss the English commentary as I pretty much shut it off :hump:

What he said...use AFSExtract, not AFSExplorer. The solution should be in the last two pages.

If it once again fails ill try using DAP as you say that it support resume from his ftp thx ;)

Just odd that flashfpx couldn't :(

Argg what a confusing process, you'd think it will work as easy as importing kits.

I import the folder, get Errors importing ("Cannot open xxx.spf"). I instead imported individual file, I get a "Not enough Room, please rebuild AFS file with more reserved space!." error. This happens on both afs files.

So I "Regenerate" the date_e file, I have no idea what the hell it does. With AFSExplorer after regenerating I seem to get the same errors. With AFSExtract, same problem.

I ask somebody, please go step-by-step on how to do this, it's not easy for a n00b like me to search through archives of information, and look through 7 pages trying to put the "pieces together" on how to install this. I have been trying to work this for one hour using search and everything...and still can't figure this out.

Alright finally I got the file down ;)

But couldn’t install it with AFS Extract as I couldn’t get both files to install correctly...

So I give Explorer a chance even though a lot of ppl said you couldn't use that, guess what it worked great also a lot quicker cause you can use the search function etc

Ok, I am just about to give up here, it's been several hours and i still have no solution.

I managed to install 170demo.afs, I just had to change the size for the 5 folders in there. But in 160game_snd.afs. It's damn near impossible unless I manually resize over 2000 files!

Why is it so hard for somebody to just help me :/

Ok just use afsextract and replace the 2 files ;) it didn't work with afsexplorer for me but with afsextract it works. After that enjoy it :)

Nevermind, I figured it out. Here is how:

- Use AFSExtract
- Open 160game.afs
- IN THE RIGHT COLUMN (This is important), select 160game_snd.afs.
- Import file, select 160game_snd.afs
- Go to the root "AFS File"
- IN THE RIGHT COLUMN select 170demo.afs
- Import file, select 170demo.afs

Your done

Wow, this pack is very good, I was somewhat skeptical about it at first...I mean who would want to listen to people talk in Japanese? But it was worth the headaches of downloading and installing.

When I played as America and scored a goal, instead of hearing "America has just scored a goal!" from Trever Brooking. I instead hear something along the lines of"AMERICAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!!!!!!!"

The energy they use very much enlightens the mood of the game, and makes it much more entertaining when even missing a goal.
