Japanese commentary?

yo I'm afraid none of your tool tips worked for me so this is what I and two of my mates did:

>- download file Japanese Commentery.rar (239 Mb - there are few smaller files but do not download them - its unfinished tryings of upload)
- unpack it (if you'll get any problems with this, just use last version of WinRAR)
- file 160game_snd.afs should have to import with no problems, use for it AFS Explorer or AFS Extract
- <well better I'll write it once again> Run AFS EX. and import data_x.afs (where x is the letter of your language version)
- in the tree in the left column find a file 160game.afs
- now in the the right column find 160game_snd.afs (on the end of list)
- mark it right mouse button and choose 'Import file'
- now search for 160game_snd.afs in directory when you put your Japanese Commentary files
- Congrats! You've just imported Japanese commentary in match!
- Now you have to do a trick: the second file which you downloaded (170demo.afs) include Japanese comments in demos (e.g. after scoring goal, during highlights, after fouls etc.), it's bigger than original english commentary and it won't to import correctly (but try, some lucky ppl done this), you should see a dialog box 'No enough room' (or similar).
- So you can do this: import this file (with Jap. com. 170demo.afs) - you'll see it include 6 smaller files with afs extension
- mark first of them and choose 'Export file' to extract and save it to any new folder
- do the same with the rest of files - you should have a new folder with 6 afs files
- Rename this folder to [170demo.afs] and close AFS Ex. (you don't have to if you want)
- Run AFS Ex. again and import data_e.afs just like you did in 4th point
- In the left column find 170demo.afs (it's on the end), mark it and from context menu click 'Import folder' then choose folder you've just created
- after while it should appear dialog box: 'Folder imported Ok!'
- That's all

hey can anyone send me the 170demo.afs file? thats all i need as i dled the .rar file from longmutung's ftp and the 160 file worked fine but the 170 is corrupt andi've been trying to dl again all week but his ftp isn't working at all and thats a big hassle to redownload a file that took 3 hours last time. can someone host it really quick and pm me or can you send it to me via

there was some other files with Japanese Commentary but it was damaged (unfinished tryings of upload)- someone wrote it in this thread yet
another guy ask me about send it yet but this file (170demo.afs) has weight about 119 Mb so you know...

thanks mayor, however i keep getting this error every damn time i try connecting to that particular file
connection 421: connection failed
it is just a hassle to keep refreshing the ftp over and over. no one else has this file newhere? also i was happy to see that there is a lone 170demo.afs file.

The Japanese comm is pretty sweet. been using it for about a week now.
They atleast say the names of the players when they score and arent always deadpan like that brooking queer (not that I know what the hell theyre saying other then a few things "fro-in" "gol kek" and "corna kek"

ok i followed the directions and everytihing. everything works great except for one file says i have to rebuild, in which ihave been doing already and it still asks me to? can somene tell me what i have to do, oh btw the afs file is the demogoal.afs file, this is the only file that won't import, the other 5 go in just fine.

pes3 wont' work if i just import those 5 files and not able to import demogoal.afs. any pointers on what i can do? if not i'm hearing dual commentary english and japanese,hehe.

You need to import folder with all of these files, not single file by file
Japanese demogoal.afs is bigger than eg. English version, 'cause it include a lot of more shout than boring "Oh he score" reading
first time I downloaded it I tried to rebuild it but it doesn't workd for me unfortunately (maybe I did something wrong?)
So I discovered you can import too bigger file with the rest of files, by importing folder with these files - it worked for me and couple of mates.
BUT, I heard some from guy with the same problem as you - he reinstalled the game, but now he picked up all of language version (even if you use a rip), and he could to import this with no problems. I know it's weird, but it worked for him, if you cannot import folder try this one.
AND of course, if you cannot import something using AFS EXplorer, try AFS Extract (and vice versa), you can always try to import it from C![:\](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/vb/fslash.gif ":\ :\")
drive (as in many Leo or Wolf's patches)
I had the same problems with this single file - I did what I wrote in my little tutorial and it worked - do exactly the same, it should work identically even on different machines and PES copies

to type but it's Christmas day and all so I'll do it for ya
Firstly, As explained here, this only works on the PC version with AFSExplorer tho I think AFSExtract can do it too.
It is important to do these steps in order--->
Open your data_x.afs file
Select your file that you will be replacing
Right click & choose import
It will complain that "There is no room for this file! you must use the rebuild funtion to reserve more space Do you want to set a new reserved space for this file?
SELECT YES
This will open up the space according to how much more space is needed for the new file.
Press "Ctrl+R"
Where it says "Size difference=_____"
make sure there is something there besides 0 or the space wasent allocated.
Click "Regenerate AFS"
Select a different folder then your "dat" folder (which it usually defualts to) name the file "data_x.afs (x being your language code, like _e for English _i for Italian)
Click "Save"
Now it will begin regenerating
This will take forever depending on how much more room your getting and how big your AFS file is to begin with.
When it is finished go up to "File" select "Import AFS" go to your new AFS file you made (if it doesent appear it might not be named correctly and you will have to find it manually and name it with the ".afs" extension.
Load the afs and go to your file that you wanted to replace
The space needed for the replacement is now available!
Import the file again and it should go in fine!
Then delete or backup your old AFS file and put your new one in the "dat" file.
Take a breath....AHHHHHHH...your done!
Go Play!!!

Im using afsexplorer and when I try to import 160game_snd.afs and 170demo_afs teh import file option is greyed out so use the import folder option but when i do that i get a message saying: cannot import ove a sub-afs file. Extract it first and load it afterwards. What should i do?
