it was never edited I'm afraid, nobody discovered how it works in previous versions, never
Ariel Santarelli from socceaccess messed with hex-editing and year after PES3 he relased his Aerow for PC; it was full of bugs and wasn't too accurate but it was most similar to original Aerow ball done before

PC balmakers tried to make Aerow attempts using Roteiro model
and it looks like that ingame (it's clickable thumbnail), full of bugs either but looks "almost" :drevil: like Aerow on Wide camera

of course it still sux coz it's not the real Nike Aerow ball;
the others tried with SY1 ball model
