watched I am Legend yesterday.

Today I have the feeling of being fairly disappointed. it was a fairly standered storyline and nothing really special, only good thing is it makes you think what you could do in a city with no-one else in it

....I recently read this blurb about how she was becoming almost unhirable because of the amount of plastic surgery that she's had done on herself (the dumb c/unt), and whenever I see her in interviews, she strikes me as being a bit too overbearing for someone who doesn't seem to merit it, you know? Anyway, I used to dig her (looks) when she was in Charmed (NO HOMO...) and it saddens me that she's disfiguring herself so severely.....

It seems like you go out of your way to read a lot of these "blurbs".

As far as the blurb itself, yes it saddens me too. And your description just makes it worse...err, "sadder"!

PS: I never watched Charmed...just Grindhouse, Devil in the Flesh (hot) and some other (also hott), whose name I can;t remember. Bah, whatever, she still gets my engine going like no other, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

What a freaking amazing film from so many aspects! The cinematography and sound for one are absolutely top notch and there is no way in hell Daniel Day Lewis is not getting an Oscar for that performance. There are so many lines in that film that as he was saying them I could envision them becoming part of film history.

"Drainage! Drainage, Eli, you boy. Drained dry. I'm so sorry. Here, if you have a milkshake, and I have a milkshake, and I have a straw. There it is, that's a straw, you see? You watching?. And my straw reaches acroooooooss the room, and starts to drink your milkshake... I... drink... your... milkshake! [sucking sound] I drink it up!"

I'm all for slow-paced and subtle flicks, but TWBB was too much for me in that respect.

For what its worth, I totally appreciate these types of flicks.

I just saw the movie and there is only one 5 sec scene other than that the movie is kinda decent but really boring as there is very little action and all talking.

I just watched it a few hours and I will expand later cause Its way too late and Im travelling tomorrow but... I think I didnt like it. or at least, save for Daniel Day Lewis, I didnt care for the movie (:/) the last 45 minutes or so were just boring, super-over the top and horrible.
I especially hated Paul Dano's performance and/or character

yes but he was way over the top, kind of like Tom Cruise in Magnolia only that I believed Tom could be that person in that movie but thought Paul Dano was not believable at all as the young preacher in this one. and the whole Paul/Eli dua character confused me
