just watched history of violence at cinema.

Was alright, really nothing fantastic. There was a lot of good violence and fight scenes in the film, sex scenes were quite useless, and some parts were slow. It was good, but not great.

finally broke down and rented Saw 2 because there was nothing else:

1. Not scary

2. Looked like a B-grade horror movie along the lines of House of Wax

3. We don't need a Saw 3

why do people consider it as good as the original which was already a bit cheesy itself or even a decent horror flick is beyond me.

It was really terrible from start to finish and the acting was atrocious.

I didn't even like the first 'Saw' movie, to me it seemed like it was just trying to be another 'Se7en' type movie but fell horribly short...

Watched Crash yesterday. Great, great movie. Good story, good cinematography, really loved it. And although I haven't seen Brokeback Mountain I doubt any film other than Crash could have won the Oscar for best movie.

watched Memoirs of a Geisha.

Incredibly boring but now I understand why Brokeback didn't get Best Cinematography.

You could almost take a screenshot of any part of the movie and put it in a frame. Incredible work.

Just came back from the theatre. Hope you'll have a chance to see it.

Saw it yesterday in the cinema, quite good movie, and considering the possibly short budget they had i believe they've done a nice job. Although the story isn't such a new way of terror as media was saying it would be... Anyway, good movie! (Y)

What a kick-ass quote! I keep repeating that for no reason! (H)

Dark City, truly awesome film, almost a masterpiece here.

I really liked this combo of Sci-Fi meets film Noir movie, it's incredibly stylish and very dark. The script is amazingly smart yet not enough to get people uninterested like it happens so many times.

The only complain I have is about the wooden acting from the lead Rufus Sewell.

Very overlooked film as well, the script is one of the most original I've ever seen and the movie itself is as good as any Sci-fi movie I've seen in the last years with the exception of only the original Matrix.

Can't understand why it didn't get the hype so many other films did.

Red Eye.

This movie is so damn good from the beginning until the end. (Y)
One of the best Wes Craven's thriller movies. Outstanding movie. I give it 'A' overall.

no idea, it's from the guy who made The Crow and more recently I, Robot.

Dark City is undoubtly the best of the three by far.

Hide and Seek

I don't get how de Niro recorded all the stuff in his journal but then in the end his journal was blank and his headphones were still unpacked.
