Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire.

I'm not a huge fan of Harry Potter myself. However, it's an entertaining one. "B+"

My only problem is that sometimes their English accents are hard to understand, so I decided to put captions on during watching it. Looking forward to see the 4th installment.

Goblet of Fire was the 4th movie. the second best IMO after Prisoner of Azkaban (Y)

that's not really saying much. the 3rd Harry Potter film was the only I found watchable and just barely.

the third and fourth films are actually pretty good films, much better than just "watchable kid films"

personally it bored the hell out of it, but on the flipside, when you're watching it you always have the feeling you're watching a masterpeice, which is nice.

I couldn't sit through it no matter how many times I told myself it was a masterpiece.

just saw Walk the Line. Don't see what the big fuzz is about. Alright evening entertainment. Nothing else...

That's the problem with music biopics. If you're a fan of the person, you'll love the film, no matter how crap it is. Any neutral will see it from an acting perspective.

Control, the upcoming Ian Curtis film, could be a big bag of spanners, but I'll probably still love it, being a Joy Division fan.

to some extent, but i dont like Johnny Cash in anyway, and i thought Walk The Line was one of the movies of the year, if only for an amazing performance from Joaquin Phoenix.

that is true, Phoenix did an amazing job as cash. But the movie overall is an okay movie. I didn't think anything sucked about it, but I never listened nor did I know anything about johnny cash. There are movies about one persons life that are far greater, e.g. Blow.

No i kind of agree with you about the film itself, because if the story wasnt real, it's be poor, at the end of the day its your basic love story, and its nothing special. However for me Phoenix's performance just changed my whole perception of the movie.

It's been a slow year for films, though. ;)

Seeing as Johnny Cash has no superpowers and there's no chance of a sequel, it's quite a rarity.

Some Like It Hot
Very funny comedy featuring a young (and cross-dressing) Carlos Lemmon and a Marylin Monroe in some very sexy dresses. :bob:

Strangers on a Train
Decent Hitchcock thriller...about....err.......two strangers on a train?....:(
