Last movie you watched

I've yet to see any of the Star Wars movies and plan to die without having watched them. As long as I get the references I'm good.

Because the first 3 are ****. You have to watch them in the order they were released. I wouldn't have even watched 4-6 if I started with 1-3. I probably wouldn't have even finished the first trilogy if I hadn't seen 4-6.

Why?

I don't really have a reason other that maybe I barely missed out of my generation, and I tend to decide to snub certain movie series just because.


Same goes for the Harry Potter series, Pirates of the Caribbean series and Godfather series. I refuse to watch them for no apparent reason.

They don't really have to make up stories to release more movies. There are so many books written on the series/universe. They'll really turn those into films.

It's the opposite to the way it was originally done, but the stories are there.

Pirates I didn't mind, but didn't think were that good after the first two, so didn't watch any others.

Harry Potter I watched because I loved the books. I hate fantasy, but Harry Potter isn't really fantasy in the typical sense. It's basically set in our world, and our time.

Godfather trilogy I didn't watch for years, but am so glad I eventually did

Same. No dude, you really need to watch the first two. Godfather 2 is even better IMO. 3 you can skip.

I liked Godfather 2 more than the first, too. But honestly, I didn't like them that much, must have to rewatch them, though.

They are a lot better after you pass a certain age... maybe 20ish? I saw The Godfather for the first time when I was 15-16 and didn't like it at all. You'll probably like them more now.

And what do you mean not having talent? We want to see you hump your girlfriend! Is that really too much for us to ask after tolerating you for 10,000 posts?
