Those are very unfortunate consequences and I can imagine their lives must be under daily stress, but don't call it the "REAL terror", I'd save that term for the poor innocent individuals who were blown apart in the terrorist attacks, and their families, children, and friends. I can well imagine many of those who lost loved one's would be telling you to cry them a river if they heard someone talking about resumes and postponed marriages at this moment in time.
Definetly right... it may better be called an 'unnoticed' relative terror... nothing is more terrorizing than the loss of countless innocent lives trying to make an honest and decent living.
But of course, many of you have probably seen FOX's hit show '24'... okay I can't deny its charm... the amazingly designed characters and sequence of events... the superb direction and production... but over all, this show, has VERY VIVIDLY shown to every viewer how an innocent-looking muslim neighbor, Doctor, or college student, could be a terrorist hiding behind a friendly smile of gratitude... And we all know that a serial killer, muderer or a terrorist isn't a long bearded guy running in the streets drooling saliva while frantically waving a knife in the air.... He's most probably a decent well-dressed person no-one would suspect.... Now add the previous 2 facts mentioned to the late attacks in London and talk to me about the looks of suspicion a decent looking muslim would get over there... now multiply that to a stranger young muslim who 'says' he's come to apply for an internship... having considering the fact that many other people all around the world apply for jobs in the UK.... careers are most likely to roll.... but again, I am strongly relying on the cultural diversity the UK enjoys more than many other nations in the world...
Again I'm relating from the post 9/11 anti-islamic campaign in the US.... add to that the hundreds of wrongfully arrested... wrongfully accused... it was a real tragedy and twist in history of which we -where we live- hear lots of countless heart-breaking stories about which western media is seldomly interested in...

Certainly the feel I'm getting from the British media is not one of an anti-Islam nature. I think at the very least the vast, vast majority of the public are more than able to distinguish between your average Muslim and the breasts that call themselves Al-Qaeda.
Well THANK you for saying that... to be frank I haven't been watching the BBC... only ABC and CNN... and having headlines on CNN like 'Blair blames attacks on muslims' wasn't so friendly.... it only flashed for like 5 seconds but it didn't leave me expecting any better....
Oh and nice one about the news bit...
I hope the 'Londoners' get over this tragic event, if anything it should make them stronger and more determined.... "what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger"..am I right? And I do like Britian's moderacy... and I found in a quick comparison, that Paris was relying on its 'charm' in the olympics race whereas London relyed on its capabilities.... Paris sure is overqualified but the better ones won...
It's also good to know none of the UK forum users have a dear one affected by the incident... I wish no-one finds himself in such a situation...
