Are you retarded or are you just trying to make yourself look like so? I honestly don't think you manage to comprehend any of my posts.

This is the comment someone left for my post on the last page: "**** you back !! moron"

Now, what the **** are you talking about?

oh and
"Which I must say was nonsense in any case." Go read a bit on the net dude, a lot of people think Tevez won't get more playing time than he did at United (as long as Adebayor signs as well). Even HE says that he'll have to fight for his spot.

BTW whoever "Az" is, I don't actually care. I'm saying they're hopeless because they have no argument and didn't leave their name ;)

This thread just plain sucks. Sad to say but it's the truth.

Btw whoever tagged 'thepooper37' get a life  Man Utd fans turning against each other. What a ******* shame. You are a disgrace to the club.

easy guys ... I think we should be united for new season.

Agreed.

And please, no more Tevez or Ronaldo discussion. They're gone FFS! Move on, they won't come back.

Well that is going to be difficult with the constant bashing of Berbs and the whole Tevez case by some members

and don't forget, Tevez is no longer a ManU player while Berba is. Berba is still part of our family, and if we should support someone now that's Berba. I hope he, wayne and owen fill the gap of Ronaldo and Tevez.

I can't wish success for Tevez or Ronaldo coz I hate Real and City but at least I hope they enjoy their football and life.

so let's move on ...

Lol @ whoever tagged this thread with "Luke Chadwick" (H)

Anyway, for some reason I'm really excited to see Owen in a United shirt. Can't wait for the Asia Tour :)

hahah I didn't even see those tags. It's all good, I'm sure that the tension in the thread will die down once the season starts. I have a good feeling about it :)

Same here. IMO Fergie must have seen something in him for giving him the number 7. He won't give this number to anyone really.

If you remember, he gave the number 7 to Cantona while he was 26 years old and had a horrible reputation in France... But he turned to be one of our finest players. So far every number 7 has been special so lets hope Owen proves to us that he is worthy of the number 7.

Lets have an analyse about our squad

Chapter 1 (Keeper/Defence)

Keeper:
Edvin Van Der Sar
Ben Foster
Tomasz Kuszczak

I hope Edvin stays on his best, Ben gets more playing time (some big games as well). Edvin should slowly pass the torch to Ben.

Defence:

Full Back:
Gary Nevile
Rafael
John O’shea
Patrice Evra
Fabio
Wes Brown
Danny Simpson (I dont think he stays)

There is no doubt that Evra is the first choice for Left Back but I’m not sure about the Right back. With all respects to Gary and Brown, I should say they’re not consistent and their killer mistakes are always there. Fabio/Rafael are still two young, I hope we see more from Fabio this season. O’shea is ok but I think it would be great if we sell Brown and buy a World Class RB like Philip Lahm but I don’t think that happens this season. If Hargreaves stays feet, he’ll probably play RB at key games especially in Europe, we missed him during CL Final last season BIG BIG TIME. Unfortunately, all of these players are injury-prone and that concerns me.

Central Defense:
Rio Ferdinand
Nemanja Vidić
Jonny Evans
Ritchie De Laet

Rio-Vidic was very solid in 90 percent of matches last year and Vidic scored some key goals as well. I’m glad that he’s still with us and I think he and Rio will perform great this season as well (especially I hope Vidic finishes a match against pool this year) . Evans is more mature and experienced now and as Sir Alex mentioned he is a long-term replacement for Rio. He should minimize his critical mistakes at this level as well. I have no idea about De Leat, did anyone saw his matches at Reserve team? Hopefully we can see his talents this year.

Overall, I think we have a good keeper and defense (except Right Back that we normally use lots of players due to injuries and poor performances). When we play 4-5-1 like our CL matches, one midfield will help the defense as well, Fletcher or Hargreaves. I think one of the priorities for us is a Right Back, It would be dream if Maicon or Lahm come to Old Trafford.

It would be a pleasure to hear your ideas about this part. so what do you think?

Luke chadwick pwned yo.

j/k (wasnt me who tagged him though)

If you still support ManU, Your signature makes me sick, it disgust me and shows how stupid it is to support both rivals in a same city.

I personally think we don't need a right back. Rafael, Brown and Neville are enough. I am expecting Rafael to get involved more this season. Only thing he needs to improve is his defence which I think has got better over the last season. If he can improve in this aspect, he can become as good as Evra.

About De Laet, I watched him in our last EPL game against Stoke at left back. Nothing that special with him honestly, but is 20 and can improve.

I hope our centre backs remain fit throughout the campaign. If at point we get both Rio and vidic injured we'll get screwed big time.
EDIT: Forgot about Brown at Centre back. So we got 4 solid players who can play centre back. Shouldn't be a problem then.

I think we already discussed right back at one point but I guess we can do it again :P. I personally don't feel we need to spend money. 2 years ago we did the double with Brown as the 1st choice right back. Last season it was O'Shea and we won the league + got to the CL final. Rafael is a player with huge potential and we would only be hampering his development if we brought in a player that expects to start every week. Also, I don't watch the Bundesliga much but from what I've seen of the German national team, I can't say Lahm is a player I'd spend much money on. I might've just seen him during some off form periods though.

Oh and isn't De Laet (sp?) a full back? Either way I'm not sure he'll get to play much next season but you never know.
