I have the feeling Fergie is trying to push his return as much as possible so that he doesn't play at all. Then he'll be sold in January. By saying the club lacks ambition and stuffs like that, he's basically put himself above the club and we all know what that means in Fergie's book. He's probably out by January. I don't see him staying to be honest. He tied up the contract for only 1 reason: to get the rid of the annoying media circus around him and to make the team focus again.

We've dealt quite well so far in his absence. Hope we continue in the same way in the next 5 weeks. We'll see what happens after that.

...agree. I think the best would be to sell Rooney and get a good replacement. He clearly hasn't been working well both off and on the pitch, when he was on. Better squeeze as much green out of him as possible. Btw, I would love to see Schweinsteiger come to United but he will cost a bit.

Yeah, I think it is in the summer. Plus, he has expressed what he feels for Man Utd and that he would want to leave Bayern at one point so the transfer might just happen. At the moment, it's 50/50. At least until we get more clear words from United and Ferguson.

He'd be a great Scholes replacement. And his versatility would be a huge plus. He can play anywhere in midfield. DM, CM, AM, LW, RW, LM, RM.

I think your view on Rooney is wishful thinking. I doubt he will be sold. Which may or may not be a good thing. When hes on form he's amazing but honestly speaking how many times have we said over the years he needs a goal to hopefully get a half decent run off games. At some point he then gets injured and has terrible form and has to build it all up again. rinse and repeat.

I hope he gets back scoring soon

yeah not bad, 4 goals in 11 games. He's got potential for sure. looks like he will be getting lots of games which is a bonus.

I have a feeling that we will step up our interest in Alexis Sanchez this summer. I would not even be surprised if SAF ties him up in January and finish the transfer in the summer

Berbatov has scored in 4 games out of 13...
1 game had a hat trick..

For all of us still in the hat trick against pool dreamland...is he proving yet again that his inconsistency will make us suffer ?
He surely does not seem like the 20 plus goals a season guy.

We surely need sumone..I have no clue about what is gonna happen with Rooney..but we surely lack creativity..
With nani being off aganst Bursaspor, our team looks shambolic..

There were a couple of positives in this game, and some negatives.

Positives:

- We had a number of reserves players (Smalling, Obertan, Bebe...) and won by a good margin with them. I know its Bursaspor, but still a good result for them.

- Rafael Da Silva: I'm so happy we finally sorted out our RB position. Rafael has started the last 6-7 games I believe and his performances has been almost flawless. He's been really solid and did an excellent job against in form Bale against Tottenham. No more O'Shea as starter. Thanks god.

- Evra: Finally a good game after a **** start of the season

- Smalling: Its Bursaspor so not a big test for him, but he's done very well whenever he played this season. I'd put him above Evans TBH. They are both very similar but I'd try him over Evans if Ferdinand or Vidic gets injured.

- Obertan: Poor first half but great second half and great goal.

- Bebe: Showed some glimpses of his potential. The talent is definitely there. He made a great run but his shot was blocked and another great run and excellent pass but Berbatov ruined the chance.

- Carrick seems to be getting back on form. That was a super pass to Fletcher that lead to the goal. He did well overall. Some good link-up and passes.

Negatives:

- Berbatov seems to be getting back to his old self... VERY disappointing. How the hell could he miss that shot?

- Nani injury - doesn't look serious at all though. Its a groin injury apparently. He might be out for Saturday's game. I wonder who's gonna play if he's out. We have Valencia, Giggs and now Nani injured. Will it be Obertan or Bebe? Or Fletcher?

IMO, I don't think he will cut it at united.

I watched Chelsea Vs BBurn highlights and he actually did well as Right Winger. Might be a very good backup player in the future especially if we play 4-3-3.

After the game they said Bebe's goal was changed to an own-goal.

I thought we played pretty well considering the squad we fielded, but the English team of the day was definitely Spurs, they played so well and we got a glimpse of what Bale is going to be doing to teams on a regular basis in the coming years.
