I love the West Brom Carling Cup game because we can clearly hear that all the fans are singing the song of George Best, (any know the lyrics?) and the song of Keano (There's only one Keano).

I love the game also because we can see more of our youngsters. In the late second half, Pique,R. Jones and Richardson play in the midfield, with Ronaldo, Rossi and Saha upfront and Bardsley in the left-back position. I personally like Pique very much, he is friendly and a decent young defender. I have shaked hands with him and heard him saying "Hello" to us! :p

Anyone can tell more about R. Jones?

hey guys can anyone give me the whole and detailed stadium parameters of old trafford?
i need it urgently as i am making a 3d animation demoreel on football at ot.

what i need is : the parameters of the stands,pitch, seating arrangement , lateral and vertical views of ot and as much as detail i can get.
please help friends

Gary Neville has been appointed as the new club captain of Manchester United.
The 30-year-old England defender was confirmed as Roy Keane's successor by manager Sir Alex Ferguson on Friday.

Ferguson had drawn up a short-list of three, including Ryan Giggs and Ruud van Nistelrooy, who skippered United in the aftermath of Keane's departure.

However, with Neville recovered from the groin injury which had ruled him out for most of this season, Ferguson has handed him the captain's armband.

The United boss explained why Giggs, the one man who has been at Old Trafford longer than Neville, had been overlooked.

"Given the service Gary has given this club, it is the right decision," said Ferguson.

"Ryan was under consideration, but you cannot expect someone of his age to be running up and down the touchline every game.

"He will still play a lot of matches for us, but we want to try and keep the freshness in his legs, so he will not play every week."

Neville has been at Old Trafford for 12 years and is approaching 500 appearances for the club.

The right-back injured his groin in the Champions League qualifier against Debreceni in August, and has only recently started playing again for the Reds.

I think that Gary deserves it and that he is the right person for the job,
and Ruud being reserve captain wouldn't be a bad idea either.

I hope that Ole can come back soon, we could use his killer instinct 'if he still has it' but either way it could be a huge boost for the club and everybody involved, good to hear some good news about Man U, it's been a while

Don't know about parameters, that will be really hard to find but i think on the manutd.com you can go to a virtual Old Trafford tour and you can rotate the camera 360 deegrees and zoom in, zoom out.



Great news about Ole. I can't wait to see him pull on the red shirt again.

I remember during his younger days, old Peter Schemeichel loves screaming right through his ears whenever United goals was under threat :D

Made captain for a number of matches before, only this time he becomes the real captain. Congrats to Gary :rockman:

Gary was the obvious choice. Most consistent and effective right back in the country and he has been around forever, as well as he still has that old hunger that a lot of our players don't have.

Hmmm............ I've been thinking about SAF saying that he isn't going for Ballack, couldn't it be some sort of strategy to confuse the main rivals (Chelsea, Real, etc), just like what he did with Ole saying that his recovery would take even longer.....It doesn't make sense, he has been Ballack's biggest fan and now he doesn't want him, when he is available for (almost) free, I mean he stated a couple of weeks ago by saying that Chelsea teases the possible transfer targets for Arsenal and Man U by offering more money

I dont think so. He has never done this before. BTW fergie says that Ballack has already signed to Real and Keane may join them. Ballack/Keano partnership would be great for any team.

Can't wait to see Ole back on the field.

Imagine, when we are one goal down and then Solskjaer is warming up at the sidelines...

With Ole's and Saha's return, our attacking force becomes reinforced and strong and our morale is boosted up.
