Yeah I got a bit over obsessed with the issue and my big gob just run away with itself. I still maintain the point I was trying to make, but I accept that I could have been less rude, and certainly less personal.

A nice 3-0 win over Aalborg in the end. Berba with 2 goals as well! only unfortunate thing is that Rooney and Scholes picked up injuries, hopefully nothing serious.

Not the best game, but not the worst. Eyed lots of potential. Giggs I thought did brilliant in the middle. Ronaldo and Rooney are both stepping it up.

I'm a little worried though that Rooney again maybe injured just as he was starting to look good... again.

Nani is still lacking in my opinion but I guess he will get better.

Rafael, wow what a prospect. He must of had 4-5 chances, great runs speed etc. In spite me being a Brown fan at the moment I'd Love to see him play more. I'm sure he will get more chances vs the smaller teams. Only thing I'm not sure about is his defence. He looked shaky at times, but I guess that will come.

Just need more of the same vs more clubs.

Almost Forgot Berbatov. First goal was practically given him but still a nice goal. The second was great. He's has some flare shining through the last few games. Just need more of it. When he ups it a gear or 2 more I think we will be seeing great things. He looks to be lacking at times, I'm sure like Rafael it will develope as he plays with us more.

That's not confirmed yet Daz, the three injured players are being assessed this morning (Wednesday) could be less serious with a bit of luck. Rooney came off as a precaution because he felt something wasn't right - same with Rafael.

As for Ronny and Berba, they're still a little way off 100% match fitness as yet, but both did well last night. Berba finally got that monkey off his back and immediately looked better for it.

All in all a good night's work - on another day we could have had double the score.

scholes is prescribed osteoporosis pills byu his wife who is a doctor..but he does not take them..tht is why he got injured, else today he wld have been fine and available for next game against ac milan.

The injury to Scholes isn't good, considering Carrick, Hargreaves and Possebon are out as well. It'll probably have to be Anderson and Fletcher/O'Shea for saturday. At least if Rooney's out we can play Berbatov and Tevez.

Come on now the guys played 4 games and scored 2 goals and had 2 assists creating many more chances during a time we have had many injuries and inconstancies.

Yes it wasn't vs one of the better teams in Europe but this was for a Champions league qualify. It doesn't come much bigger then this in Club football. Every team will give 200%.

Just because he doesn't go around whipping his top off & swinging it around like the other nonces or giving some Tim Henman Fist and roar action doesn't make him any less committed.

You could even say after all the messing around he had with past club just to get to Man United he's more committed to club then other certain members of the team and I'm sure he wont be sold on even after openly saying he would want too.

My point, Saf doesn't care about the things your insinuating, he's bothered about getting the job done and 'said' players get it done.

crap... both scholes and carrick out! what a blow! you are not gonna get the quality and creativity they bring to our team from any of our other midfielders.. But anderson and fletch should be the 1st choice midfield pairing for now. Fletcher has been in fine form of late. he deserves a start against blackburn.

I agree with that, Fletcher is finally living up to the hype. Great little interview with Berba on MUTV after the match, he said he didn't celebrate because he was still embarassed and annoyed with himself over missing the first chance. He also said he can't believe he's a United player and he's loving every second of it. He seemed somewhat amused by the questioning from the media.
