i don't think we'll have any problems this season
ifact i see man utd being deadly than ever.

*ruud back in a month
*Rio returns v liverpool
*Saha,Kleb,Miller,Wes are only short-termed in injuries.
*Ronaldo and Heinze back after some months.
*Alan Smith....yes,he'll discover his prime at Man Utd.He just wants to win.

Fernandez

Team Captain
That should be good enough of a reason for the board to give some money to buy a world-class winger. Seriously, I can't see us winning for the first three months without a natural right-winger like Joaquin.

"Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to miss the whole of the forthcoming Barclays Premiership season with a knee injury.
The Manchester Untied striker had an arthroscopy in Sweden yesterday that confirmed the pain the Norwegian experienced in pre-season training was due to damage in his knee cartilage.

A United spokesman confirmed that Solskjaer, who missed virtually all of the last campaign with a similar problem, is set to sit out this season as well. "

we're hearing chatter here in the states that Timmy may be falling out of favor with SAF and that Carroll could see more time this season.

After his performance in the Charity Shield it wouldn't surprise, some of his decisions were terrible. He'll start though he's just too good and young not to start.

Good thing for United that they have depth up top.

Losing Solskjaer sucks though, he is one of the only man. utd. players i like.

I think it was more the defense than Howard playing bad.

Howard di make a couple bad decisions though

Ole out!:(
:f***: :f***: :f***: :f***:

what bad fortunes.
he is such an important player.
for god's sake what has man utd with injuries?
is there a secret relation?

i hate this!!!!!!!!!

we need to buy 1 quality winger considering Ronaldo wants to 'play' in the olympics

How big is YOUR penis?
I feel sorry for Ole a lot, this could be the last season for him at OT, and probably if the injury is much more worse, it could be the end of his playin` career . . . :( A Hall of Fame player IMO, he got the heart and the loyalty for the club.

I wouldn`t mind if one day he decides to become one of United`s staffs, youth team`s coach or maybe even assistant manager before goin` to the top rank as manager. Ole got a good vision on the bench, and that`s why he`s our super-sub.

A tribute:We'll always remeber you Jimmy.:(

looks like the 9th of August is overall a sad day for United.:(

Jimmy Davis: One Year On

The latest generation of young Old Trafford talent has gatecrashed the first team scene this pre-season, but spare a thought for one notable absentee.
On 9 August 2003, United's promising 21-year-old prodigy Jimmy Davis was killed in a car accident.

The likes of Spector, Eagles, Richardson, Bardsley and McShane have recently pushed their claims for first-team action and, but for the accident, Jimmy would almost certainly have been among that crop.

The young striker spent periods on loan at Swindon, Antwerp and Watford. He made one senior start for United, against Arsenal in the League Cup on Bonfire Night in 2000.

Swindon and Redditch United, Davis' hometown side, recently staged a match for the 'Jimmy Davis Memorial Trophy.' The event is set to become annual, and will raise funds for local junior football clubs.

That follows on from United's FA Cup triumph last season, which featured a moving tribute to Jimmy as the entire squad donned 'Davis 36' shirts as they collected the trophy.

Following the moving display, Sir Alex Ferguson said: "Jimmy was a young and bubbly character, someone that everyone wanted to be around. He was bright, innovative, and showed great potential as a player.

"Jimmy is still in our thoughts every day, which is why at the FA Cup Final we wanted to show his family and the fans that he is still part of Manchester United."
