None of those players are regulars or even semiregulars in the first team (only exception being Blackett because you had no one else to play the position). Every team has a list of promising players like that.

You just asked how our youth players are doing... the answer is very well, lots of promise. Wilson at 18 being the standout. Not that he will get much time with Rooney, RVp and Falc ahead of him.

I was mocking Nady for his stance on our youth policy in comparison with ManU's which is now, arguably, worse.

WTF. I never even compared our academy to yours.

99% of these Chelsea "starlets" that go on loan fail. Not worth following them.

Same with United signings

That's why I don't follow them that closely.

Next time read every post carefully. I said the above because I agreed with Mus.

Me saying that Chelsea starlets rarely break into the first team does not mean our academy is better. Other than 1992, our most successful players have been Fletcher and O'Shea. Next to that is Welbeck and Cleverley. Nothing in comparison to team 1992. I think we were just lucky in 1992. Talent cannot be created.

What do you mean now? We were probably worse even before "now" also.

I have high hopes for Wilson and maybe Pereira though.

van Persie says to Mus:

Van Persie has dismissed speculation that is about to undergo surgery on a knee injury that would keep him sidelined for several months.

"I am impressed that people can pick up the imagination to invent something like that," Robin explains. "I do not know where it comes from and can say with my hand on my heart that I won't be in a hospital to have the operation."

unfit, old, rusted. Poor form. Needs a break. His form was poor in his last 2-3 games for Holland as well. He was magnificent in the group stage.

Januzaj is more consistent than Bentley was.

But I think Januzaj is a little bit overrated. He shouldn't have been given Gigg's #11 that early.
