We are failing this season because of defense and failure of Di Maria and Falcao. Blind, Herrera and Rojo are doing fine. Yes, Rojo is doing fine filipowder. Far from worldclass but fine.

I think the midfield and attack overall are suffering because the defenders are very poor. Not just at defending but more so as overall footballers- though, Rojo is better overall technically compared to the rest which helped him be better in comparison to the rest. If the attackers and midfielders were provided freedom to focus on attack the records would be resembling to what has been happening on the pitch.

The whole play originates from the back-positioning/movement/technique on the ball/vision etc- and defending starts from the front. Given the incapability of the first part, the attackers have to be more focused on positioning and defending before creating attacks so that the opposition has less probability of getting near their goal to cause trouble which is causing the actual problems in my opinion.

I think its wrong that poorer players look better with better players. They struggle to cope and keep up with better players which in turn brings the better one's down to compensate.

We have +60% possession in most games, yet very few clear chances for forwards ... Falcao can't provide assists for himself, he gets 1-2 half chances whenever he plays ...

Di Maria is our biggest fucking flop ...

Rooney's scoring decent amount of goals in forward role, it's a waste to play him in midfield and both Falcao and RVP start ...

I am not a big fan of him. He has become too selfish and also the dives. James Wilson and Andreas Pereira are better prospects.

I hope so. We have done good against the top sides this season. After this game, we will have Liverpool, City, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Liverpool will have Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea. Liverpool also has tough teams left to beat. Liverpool Vs Man Utd could be a decider.
