Luke Chadwick is coming back home tomorrow. Man Utd v/s Cambridge.

He looks more handsome now.

We drew League 2 opponents, Cambridge with an almost full strength team. How embarrassing. This should be no excuse but Cambridge parked the bus leaving no space for us to walk and that pitch was horrible.

We passed and passed and passed but created very little chances. Possession football is not for English leagues.

Holy fuck Chelsea, Man City and Southampton, currently top 3 in the EPL have crashed out of the FA cup to mediocre sides. Now that's even more embarassing.

Not a bad display, 3-1, plenty of ball and chances, I'm glad both RVP and Falcao scored ... for me Adnan and Blind were men of the match though ... Rooney did well as well ... Another positive is Rojo/Jones partnership improvement ...

However, Di Maria was poor again ... fucking waste of money ... that price tag should do much better ...

I watched only the first half so far. Blind was fantastic. Deserved to be MoM. It was a strange formation with him as DMF and no central midfielders in a diamond 4-4-2 but he controlled the game despite being the only true midfielder.

Carrick is important but Blind is faster and more dynamic.

Also, was Januzaj's second half good enough to consider him for "man of the match"? Because to me, he was poor in the first half. Flashy but no end product. Much worse than even gay Sterling.

Oh and Herrera is a MUCH better midfielder than Rooney. It was so painful to see him not play again. To those who didn't watch, this was the formation we played:

This should be our formation IMO:

This would be much more balanced. I prefer Di Maria on the left side; i.e. same position that Januzaj played. In the centre he does not have space to run. His pace is wasted in central AM position.

Herrera would add stability in midfield. Rooney is not a natural central midfielder and will never become a good one. Rafael is another player who SHOULD play ahead of Valencia.

I don't know what formation this is but I hope Rooney is not in midfield again and Di Maria is not striker. This could also be a 5-3-2. van Gaal is so stubborn.
