why do we struggle against you so much? i'd rather play the yankees than the brewers at this point. even in years past, even though we have a better team, i would be biting my nails every time we play. it's the favre curse man, i know it. that ****er has cursed us in all sports vs the north, not just football. still love the guy though

Honestly though, who you think is a better proscpect? Him, Jacoby or Pence?

I personally would take Langoria over the other two in a heartbeat. I've seen him in spring training and he is great. He sees the pitches very well and has a pattience on the plate few do share in the majors.

Reed Johnson just went 4-4 for the Cubs against the Reds. I'll never totally understand why the Blue Jays let him go in, this spring, favor of Shannon Stewart. Johnson was a fan favorite.

Blue Jays just cut Frank Thomas, one day after he complained about his lack of playing time. This is like Shea Hillenbrand all over again. A young Orioles team could very well finish 3rd in the AL EAST!

The problem was that the Jays didn't want to guarantee his next your option (10 mill) witch was going to be if he would have gotten more than 350 at bats. Benching him was a clear message that he was not going to be getting those ABs and he supposedly saw himself as a full time DH.

I've come up with a theory. anytime the Blue Jays have a good inning in which they get a few runs and Halladay's pitching, he comes out and immediately gets into trouble the very next inning. I've noticed this more than once or twice already this season. solution: don't give him any run support whatsoever until the 9th inning. every game = 1-0 win.

He's had this problem with run support for a few seasons. The offence goes flat.

Wasn't really what I was getting at. what I'm saying is when the Jays offense goes hot and grabs a few runs, it seems like Roy relaxes a little bit and comes out and gets tagged for a few hits and runs himself. not taking away from his credibility, definitely one of the top 10 pitchers in the league

Top 1st, Matt Stairs hits a grand slam, Jays up 4-0. Bottom 1st, Halladay gives up 4 hits and 3 runs.

Manny Ramirez has done more for the Dodgers in the last 3 days than Andruw Jones has done all year. Manny struck out today and the crowd still cheered for him. Hopefully he helps us past Arizona for the division, maybe today was a sign of things to come the rest of the way.
