MLB 2008 Season

Red Card [Being a douche] exp. 22/1/06
Melky was an average center fielder at best. His demotion to the minors came way to late if you listen to me. He should have been send to Scranton way earlier in the season. His plate appearances were getting clownish to say the least. He was getting embarrassed day in and day out. I am really not sold on him at all. I think the Yankees should ship him in a trade as soon as the possibility comes knocking.

Rumors are also leaning into the Yankees giving Mussina a rollover type of contract. The same Tim Wakefield gets in Boston. He will be signed 1 year with the option for the next and the team can decide to pick it up or not.

Typical Blue Jays with another .500 homestand....beat Yanks 2-1 and lose to Red Sox, 2-1.

NOW, what the hell.........Yankees send Melky Cabrera to the minors?

Latest rumor is that, in addition to Manny going to New York, A.J Burnett and C.C. will replace Mussina and Andy Pettitte next year. If that happens, Yankees' pitching will average 15 strikeouts a game.

CC has said that his first choice would be a return home to the Bay Area and the Giants, but that seems very unlikely since they have so much money tied up in Barry Zito (hahahaha!!!).

Brewers wax the Cardinals 12-0 in Busch Stadium tonight to go up 4.5 in the wildcard. YEAH!!! The NL is going to come down to Brewers and Cubs in the NLCS. Honestly I think the 3 best teams in the NL are all in the Central this year, although MAYBE the D-Backs (because of their pitching) are better than the Cards.
