Yeah...we keep bugging the TFC GM and the BMO Stadium manager to put up a roof (since they would just be able to make that decision based on pressure from a supporters club (H))

You must be joking. MLS is as sloppy as it gets.

Only reason I bother watching anymore is because I can get it in HD and I don't get any European matches on my channels. I spend half the match yelling at the television because there are only a handful of players in the league that have any creativity.

They kept talking about how Beckham seemed to be pissed off about the ref...I think he was pissed off because he's starting to realize his teammates suck.

I'd really like to see a player like Kaka, Cristiano, Messi, etc. be thrown into MLS, they would have a field day because 90% of the defenders are slow as ****.

Those players you mentioned have a field day in Europe of course they would run over the MLS and yes the MLS is sloppy but you get good creative play every once in a while and DC do it almost every game with Fred and Emilio. Beckham is gonna get a few white hairs by the end of the season because of his teammates.

No they wouldn't, they'd get injured, kicked off the park. How do you stop an amazingly skilled player? A decent hard man.

Great game today between the Galaxy and DC United. GReat back and forth game and watching beckam play and score was just great. Glad he wasn't sent out after that tackle, the Ref new better :p.

Dynamo get a 4 year sponsorship deal with Amigo Energy. There are now 6 teams in the MLS with a sponsor logo on the front (Los Angeles, RSL, New York, Chivas USA, Toronto, Houston)

Galaxy @ Red Bulls 2-2 HT

That was the most amazing half I've ever seen in the MLS in my seven years of following the league. INCREDIBLE PACE! EPL-like, it was back and forth stuff the whole 45 and the crowd was into it the whole time. It's refreshing to hear Beckham being booed when he touches the ball seeing as up to now everyone has sucked his cock when he touched the bal (DC....). He showed his class though, 2 great assists and Pavon finally scoring haha. Awesome equalizer by Mathis to end the half as well, not to mention chances that both Altidore and Donovan should of put away. Jazic went down for LA though so their entire first team back four is injured, it will surprise me if they manage to make the playoffs in these conditions.

By the way it's really cool to watch a broadcast where Beckhams name isn't mentioned every 5 seconds and where the camera focuses on the game. Major props to Max Bretos (and that other guy in the booth) and to FSC (Y). Take some lessons ESPN :read:

Great game indeed. For a moment there I actually forgot I was watching an MLS Game (not to knock the MLS). Hope the tempo continues in the second half. Also, Is it a sell out??

MY GoD!! WHAT A F****ING GAME. 9 Goals with lot of back and forth action in the entire game. GReat atmosphere with great gameplay, what else can you ask for??

Well one could ask for some defense. The Galaxy actually have a dangerous attack now with Beckham-Donovan-Pavon trio so you can't really blame the New York defenders but the Galaxy back four is a joke, Altidore, Angel and Mathis were cutting through it like a hot knife through butter tonight. The game against Chivas on Thursday is pretty much a must win for LA and the fact that it's a derby game should make it a special one, sadly ESPN will ruin it with their Beckham broadcast :f***:
