Btw - anyone know how to remove the excess bounce from lobbed balls, etc? The ball spins off the turf like it's ice! I've been trying all day to figure it out.

If I remember correctly, AP tried do fix that via .ini's, but at the end there was not much of the success. I think its not possible to address ball spin directly from the .ini file.

That's too bad, but makes sense as I was trying the same through the cl.ini file. Damn, worked on it all day too, lol.

I got sliders where I wanted to using Matrix DB and fidel's gp files (except db of course) so I can just play now instead of using career.

The issue I have is the player positioning is still not right. The defenders/midfielders should be in front of the opposing team's players - that is the fundamentals of the way marking/pressure works. This is why you check to the ball as a forward, or have to run in to gaps to find the ball as a midfielder.

I know part of the fix could be formations edit - but is there anything else that can be done about this? Bangus, Waldo, Fidel, RC, thoughts?

From reading SEPAKBOLA and ather posts in these past days, I release this update, of course not all requests are fixed.
I happy for having published/shared tips about my string settings, good for users who want to customize gp for itself.

FIFA 14 ADVANCED GAMEPLAY EVOLUTION AI UPDATE
VERSION: 2.4 - ADV. GP EVO AI - XMAS 2013 VERSION
25/12/2013

DETAILS/FIX LIST:
- Decreased CPUAI sprint speed
- Disabled some loco referee situations
- Decreased sliding tackle and standing tackle attributes effects
- Some minor settings update
- All previous improvements

Now you can see many more CPUAI fouls due to the decreased CPUAI sprint speed:
included CPUAI GK inaccurate rush out on your striker, and penalty kick for you, that's really a revolution.
I suggest to decrease from game settings also Human Sprint speed values in the range (from 35 to 45).
Soon I public many more tips and details to enjoy the gameplay.
Soon I upload a video that shows you how to play the game.

INSTALLATION/UPDATE
Copy Game folder into your FIFA 14 MAIN folder (\Origin Games\FIFA 14)
or copy new cl.ini into your \Game folder.

Btw, fidel - the biggest issue I am having (and the CPU lol) is the bounce/roll of the ball from lobbed and high balls. It's crazy and I think should be moved right up to a top priority.

Thanks so much for your updates! I am posting a video soon of the various fouls I have already seen with your mod (using EA squad update, not your db for testing purposes).

question about db 2.2 , you says stats are really lowered, can someone give for example the stats for barcelona ? to be sure i've applied everything correctly :)

also, i've used moddingway selector to inject more tournaments into the non-career mode but i can't see belgium in the world cup 14 tournament (they were there when i used moddingway 4 db). Any idea why that is?

Showing with the right sliders, and combined with Fidel's edits - even using EA's default DB, it still produces realistic results in terms of fouls and overall gameplay. Slider set will be posted on OS as well.

I've also asked this question to Rinaldo, the FIFA Master, but I'm wondering if you can help me with this also.

I've made a team in my database with the 40 Ultimate Team Legends, using EA's ID for the team called "Legends" (#112658). But, some of those Legends players are also appearing randomly in the World XI. My question is this: Do you know how the World XI roster is calculated/organized? I want to make sure that none of the UT Legends players appear in the World XI team.
