Oh I see them all over the place, bigsoccer has them all the time, that's why I said "Other forums," I had to put down a reason, instead of just saying, "The USA just cause..." like I said I don't hate the team, just some of those fans...but whatever I let soccer speak for itself...one day one NT is good then next may be another, and so on...that's the beauty of soccer, (unpredictable for the most part.)

from my knowledge, the only person goes on and on about why only european based players are considered for the world player of the year awards is blanco. and he's mexican.

Just watched it. If i was portugese i would hate the US too. Those 3 first half goals - ouch :) . Not only did they get owned by the US, they got owned by South Korea.

South Korea DID cheat. Facts are as such.

1. South Korea has cheated several major international competitions, all of which were based in korea. Korean culture condones cheating to win. There is enough evidence that they did in fact pay the linesmen, and it is still being investigated. Several Japanese journalists are going to release their findings before 2006! I CANT WAIT!

2. The same journalists did a report on the doping and found that the korean team ALL took Ephedrea and several other contorversial drugs that are not legal. Watch their games, and check out their pupals. They do not look human.

Was it worth it Korea? Look at this board! I may be hated for my no BS approach, but guess who is hated the most? How does it feel, I really want to know!

I don't really hate any other national teams.

Also, it is pretty sad that people hate the USA's NT for "political reasons." The players on that team aren't in the White House. They don't dive and cheat like other national teams. They also don't have big egos like many other players.

And when exactly has that happened?

Americans for two years in a row have gotten votes (all third place ones) for World Player of the Year. Last year, Landon Donovan got two thrid place votes (including one from rival Mexico), and this year Brad Friedel got one, and I thought both times that it was a complete joke that they got any votes. No American at this point is even close to being World Player of the Year.

Most of the Americans on this board seem to know what they are talking about. Saying they "don't know ****" is just dumb.

Alot of Europeans ( mostly Portugese, i wonder why?:) ) just cant accept the fact that the US national team can compete with any team in the world. Everytime a Portugal fan calls an American stupid, i just like to reply - 3-2.

Do I need say it more?

How the hell is the USA a top team and it can't beat Brazil's youth squad? What was the last good team the USA beat? I think looking back you'd probably say Portugal because since that victory you guys haven't set the world on fire at all.

Also I'd take it to some RESPECT if you could actually learn to spell Portuguese correct I don't go around calling you an Amerian.

You may have beaten Portugal, but if you look at the amount of difference between the current squad and the WC squad many things have changed, my friend. And if you look at the US squad not much has changed except for Howard.

If you're too ignorant or arrogant to see that a win 2 years ago doesn't mean you're still a great team than please go burn yourself because you've lost the idea of what is real and what is a humble figment of your imagination.

Look at the last minutes and look at the cheesy fouls commited by the USA, I've seen Portuguese LEAGUE games that were cleaner than those last few minutes that you Americans call a victory. I'm not saying Portugal will beat the USA if they meet again, I'm simply saying the USA has done nothing in the span of the last 2 years to prove that they are still a good side and not impacted by a 3-2 win. If you beat us 3-0 I could see trash talking but over a 3-2 win? And even then if you look at the first half besides the few chances the USA had we dominated it. And if you look at one of the goals(2nd I believe) you'll see that when Donovan brought the ball to his feet he clearly impacted the ball with his hand, which would've disqualified the goal. And I don't need to mention that the reff was the same one responsible for the South Korea-Italy disaster called a World Cup game. And that that same reff was charged with calling a game for a team simply because he was running for mayor of the town in the near future.

In that game against Brazil's youth squad, we were missing a lot of our top guys, such as Friedel, O'Brien, Sanneh, Pope, etc. The team was FAR from full strength. Also, they were a very talented side. They had players such as Kaka who start for AC Milan so they aren't just any youth team. I was very surprised that they didn't beat Mexico in the final.
